Re: Lozaman's ASV Therapy Thread
Hello again and thank you for those who posted to my first ever thread. I would like to continue with a couple more screen shots and see what you think. Again, I'm a newbie to wearing a mask an I am trying to learn to discern real events versus the many false ones I seem to be getting. Any help inte...

Re: Lozaman's ASV Therapy Thread
you should add a pulmonologist to the list of doctors to see; reduced lung volume can be implicated in central apnea, as well as CO2 dysregulation. Idlewire thank you and good luck finding your cause as well. I did see a pulmonologist and he’s going to order a blood gas test. He didn’t even check my...

Re: Lozaman's ASV Therapy Thread
Thank you Pugsy, for the quick reply, and your analysis. You’re right, the awakening may be normal but then I feel the “alien” mask and awake almost fully for 10-20 min or have to use the restroom. I’ve only been at this about 2 1/2 weeks. I actually do use a liner and it helps. It’s a hot Summer he...

Lozaman's ASV Therapy Thread
Hello all, this is Lozaman. I'm a newbie here and hoping some of you experienced users can help me sort through or understand my issues. I am an otherwise fairly healthy 49 year old married father in SoCal. Two months ago I started to stop breathing (or very shallow breathing) when I would fall asle...

Re: Machine Question re Bathroom Break
No problem Zonker. I’m just glad you are all here to help and so generous in spirit. I have an appointment tomorrow with a sleep tech who is going to teach me about Oscar. Once I’m more educated I will be back to pick your very experienced brains via a new thread. Thank you. Sent from my iPhone usin...

Re: Machine Question re Bathroom Break
I’m also a newbie here (on Aircurve 10 ASV for centrals only). Thank you all for this invaluable forum. Just trying to learn about Oscar and uploading graphs etc first before I start asking too many questions. I clicked on Zonkers name but I don’t see any links. I’m on my iPhone...do I need to be on...

New to ASV. Lots of questions.
Hello all. Sorry if these are lame newbie questions but I’ve searched the forum and didn’t see answers I could use. My background: relatively healthy 49 yo male in CA here, started waking up 6 weeks ago from not breathing (or extremely shallow breathing). My primary doc/HMO is slow and still waiting...
