CPAP Desperate for feedback

Hi CPAP friends...I just started using my CPAP this past weekend. I have tried it in the past but experienced a lot of grinding. My dentist has made me a custom night guard which I also started Saturday evening with the CPAP. I am using a nasal mask and my AHI readings have been around 3.8-4.1 the l...

CPAP and Grinding Mouth Guard Together?

Greetings CPAP friends...I have been a longtime grinder/jaw clencher at night. I wake up almost every morning with jaw, face, and neck pain. At the same time, I have moderate sleep apnea. I have gone back and forth between trying the CPAP and sleep apnea mouth appliance/mouthguard. The sleep apnea a...

Re: New CPAP user issues

Well that is a SUPER helpful answer, thank you so much.

My dentist is telling me the custom grinding guard is really better for me since I clench and grind, but perhaps I should also try the mask with the bite guard you are suggesting?

TropicalDiver, what kind of mask do you use with the mouthguard? I have nasal, but will I need full face mask with the mouthguard?

New CPAP user issues

I wake up with pain from it most mornings. The CPAP doesn't seem to be resolving that. I've also tried to use a Sleep Apnea mouthguard to a...

Serious pressure in head - new user

I started using my cpap Philips Dream Machine two nights ago. I’m using the nose mask. I’ve woken up both days with horrible pressure in my head that lasts all day. It makes it hard to function. I feel like I slept better but I was struggling with the intense pressure and fogginess all day - lasted ...
