Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
Taping the magnets and using the velcro straps may be the solution. It will shorten the life of the headgear, but if you are on insurance you get a mask every 6 months. The respiration rate chart looks more even with the collar. Now that you know how the head position feels. You may be able to dupl...

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
There are also some clusters in the first chart, that may be positional and need pillow adjustment or a $10 foam cervical collar to get the head back and airway open Thanks for recommending this. The one I ordered came in yesterday and I used it last night. It turned out okay so far with 1 night's ...

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
The mask keeps flying off my face, the magnets are popping loose. Even though I make sure straps are properly installed on my face before I fall asleep.

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
I wouldn't increase the pressure and keep it at 12, if over the week, the 95% stays at 12. You could reduce to 11.5, because 12 may not be needed. You could also leave it at 12. This is what may be set as a fixed pressure CPAP. You can keep this as your min pressure. The cluster at the beginning if...

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
Good evening. I am attaching data from last night. Not sure what was up with the cluster at the start of the session, I do remember that around 11:55-midnight I was just beginning to fall asleep; whether I was awake or asleep at the time of cluster, I cannot say definitely. I zoomed in on that clust...

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
I'm glad the clustering wasn't much of an issue yesterday, and I'll keep an eye on it to see if it continues that way. Moreso because I decided to sleep in various orientations and not so much on my back. Have there been correlation or experience from users here on the advantages or disadvantages of...

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
Positional clustering was my first observation on page one. I did make some suggestions there for you to try. When there is a large swing in pressure over the night, it is an indicator. although better than the highs you were getting. You are currently getting pressures in the 13 on auto, so you do...

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
Looking back on some of your older reports....I wouldn't have increased the minimum from the 10.5 if it were me. I would maybe have increased the maximum like you did but I don't see any urgent reason to be using the 13...and it appears the 13 is causing problems anyway. Just my 2 cents. I will try...

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
dreamstation machines, don't raise the pressure, if the timing of the events are not what the algorithm is using. You can get events that the machine doesn't respond it. I would follow basic procedure and raise the min pressure 1cm at a time, till the events subside http://c398534.r34.cf1.rackcdn.c...

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
... Wow, i'm sorry to say. That sounds terrifying. How long did it take you to dial-in/optimize your pressure values. Especially if it takes 3 weeks to settle into a change. That sounds rough. I hope your sleep is far better now than it was when you started. Adjusting to CPAP was pretty easy after ...

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
...give your poor tired brain some time to settle in and become accustomed to the pressure changes. this may take some time to see just what the trend is and where your therapy needs to go... In the beginning, it would take up to 3 weeks    for my brain to get used to a change....

Re: Need Help with Better Sleep and Pressure Sets
Last night's report is below. Much better I think. I had to reduce the pressure back to 10.5, just to see if the cluster of OAs I was getting at 11 would go away and it seemed to be better , at least according to the chart. *sigh* a change of 0.5 is negligible , it's better because you had a better...
