Extended Wear Contacts and Cpap

Anyone here wear extended wear contacts? I wear weeklies and have been having issues. My eyes have been getting muscous like an infection is imminent so I’m tossing contacts like crazy. My eyes are always a bit red. I’m super blind which is why I wear extended contacts. I can’t see the clock, I can’...

Re: Newbie - Oscar uploads

The big think to be careful about: don't block the mask venting. So I constantly am going back to reread advice because it was too much at once and I know I missed things. So today I see the “don’t block the mask venting” I wear FFM dreamwear. The hose is at the top of my head. Is that where you me...

Re: At RX max pressure- go higher?

I have upped my max to 15 and it was steady at 90% was under 13 so I left it. This week it has risen to 14.5 so I will raise my maximum to 20 tonight. I feel braver, less like I’m sticking my head out of a plane but I still stress a little about 30 min before bed. I also have had some issues w swimm...

Re: Trip with Cpap to London- help?

Look at the label on your power bricks (PAP, laptop, whatever) and make sure the "input" has a voltage range like, "100-240v~50-60Hz". that means the brick won't need a transformer and can handle voltages between 100 and 240 volts and 50 to 60 hz. That covers most of the globe. The problem then is ...

Re: Trip with Cpap to London- help?

I think most of the things you need to know have been covered. I traveled to the UK last year and had no problem using my machine anywhere with the proper plug adapter. I was puzzled that I couldn't find distilled water so used tap water, which did leave deposits in my humidifier chamber. And I did...

Padacheek is a website and a product line - they make liners for the masks and covers for straps.

Re: Hooray!

Did they use that measurement they put under your nose? I measured small but it blows right off and leaks so now you make me want to just try a large tonight! 🤣🤣🤣 So jelly of your AHI’s. You don't have your equipment listed in your profile. What mask did they give you ? I measured right o...

Re: At RX max pressure- go higher?

. . . live in so cal and nothing blooms in a desert in the summer . . . Au contraire, my dear. Almost everything in the desert blooms, but some blossoms are green, or tiny, or gone in a flash. Pollen is everywhere--it travels on the wind, farther than we can imagine. Climate change happens with or ...

Re: At RX max pressure- go higher?

So interesting thought on the not large enough leak. That could be true. It blows off my nose area. The silicone is very thin and once it starts to leak there I have to shut my my machine down to the lower rate to be able to get it leak free again. I'm not sure if padacheek.com makes a mask liner f...
