Re: Newbie to Forum Long Time CPAP user Looking to Improve Therapy
Too high seems to be somewhere between 13-14 for me as that when I tend to get some aerophagia. You might consider trying fixed 13 or 14 with EPR set to 3 and see how that does both with sleep quality and the flow limitation situation. Flow limitations could potentially be impacting sleep quality a...

Re: Newbie to Forum Long Time CPAP user Looking to Improve Therapy
You can't fix nasal congestion with more pressure. Just not going to happen. What is it you are wanting to do? Just get prettier graphs and numbers or sleep better and feel better? Do you feel the need to improve on sleep quality or how you feel during the day? What happens when the "pressure gets ...

Re: Newbie to Forum Long Time CPAP user Looking to Improve Therapy
I've noticed that my flow limits will go up when the machine increases the pressure and the flow limit will get better as the machine brings the pressure back down. You are mistaken on why the pressure and flow limitations go up and down. The machine's auto adjusting pressure algorithm is designed ...

Re: Newbie to Forum Long Time CPAP user Looking to Improve Therapy
Hello. Back again spinning my wheels trying to optimize my therapy. I've been trying to hone in a fixed pressure and have been struggling with being able to keep my flow limits down and using less vs more pressure doesn't seem to be helping. I tried a fixed pressure of 13 w/EPR at 2 for three nights...

Re: Newbie to Forum Long Time CPAP user Looking to Improve Therapy
Just wanted to follow up again. I began using EPR at 3 and then reduced pressure by 1cm until I went down from 13 to 11 which seemed to be the most comfortable to me for aerophagia purposes. I looked at my data from a good night vs a not so good night and it looks like with my minimum pressure at 11...

Re: Newbie to Forum Long Time CPAP user Looking to Improve Therapy
So the aerophagia monster has reared its ugly head again the last few nights. Last night it was so bad I could feel the air entering my stomach while I was still somewhat awake and about to fall asleep. Even have rumbling sensations in my chest and stomach. This is causing lots of anxiety and keepin...

Re: Newbie to Forum Long Time CPAP user Looking to Improve Therapy
Looks like a new mask and turning EPR to 1.0 is helping immensely. This past week AHI has been in the 1.4-1.8 range. Had one night of 2.3 but figure I was sleeping on my back. Thank you for the help. Btw, I love the F20 mask so far.

Re: Newbie to Forum Long Time CPAP user Looking to Improve Therapy
Turning off your EPR has reduced your CA's but has caused the Hypopnoeas to increase meaning your AHI has increased, often it's a balancing act try using an EPR of 1 as recommended by Palerider. Will do. Is that because I’m fighting the pressure trying to exhale, which in turns causes shallower bre...

Re: Newbie to Forum Long Time CPAP user Looking to Improve Therapy
Bump. Have been having my worst streak of AHI this past week and had one of my worst nights last night. Since Tuesday, my AHI has been consistently over 4 and last night was almost 7. It looks like I had some leak issues which could have contributed, but on Friday night I didn't seem to have any sig...

Re: Newbie to Forum Long Time CPAP user Looking to Improve Therapy
Here are my charts from the last two nights within minimum pressure set at 13. Tuesday night was a good night, however, last night it seems I triggered a lot of CA events. Anyone have any idea what could have caused this?

Re: Resmed Airsense 10
I had the same issue and my medical supplier gave me a new machine with no issue. The tech said it’s a common issue and indicated a faulty machine.
