Re: Who is using the oldest CPAP on this forum?

DH, tell us about yourself. You have so MANY questions--but you offer no explanation of WHY you are so annoyingly CURIOUS. SPILL, already! Just in case you may not have noticed, DH has chosen to ignore all questions and comments made by you and some others. Ok Your Rudness, here are the four CPAPs ...

Re: Who is using the oldest CPAP on this forum?

I am willing to bet that Den (Wulfman) has the oldest machine and he is still using it. There was a thread awhile ago that asked that very question, he has several old "tanks" and still swears by them. Woody if you want to know who the oldest member is, just do a search above, there is a thread wit...

Re: Who is using the oldest CPAP on this forum?

I have a working Healthdyne Tranquility, my original CPAP from 1988. I don't use it nightly, but I do use it once a week to dry out my hose and mask after washing them in warm soapy water. Of course it has no "Data Capability" , not even a runtime meter. The pressure adjust is an indexed screwslot ...

Re: Knocked my machine off the night table twice this past week

So, after 4 months of easily adapting to using a cpap machine, this past week I've knocked the machine off my night table onto myself (it's on a shelf a little above head height) waking me. I do turn side to side occasionally during the night, but twice now I guess I've wrapped the hose around myse...

Re: Knocked my machine off the night table twice this past week

Ultimately I try to never put any device that moves air on the floor unless it's my air purifier. I keep all my computers and other electronics on top of a table at least 2 feet off the floor, especially if you have carpet or critters in your house. Keep the machine on or near the floor and get a longer hose. Hopefully the water did not get into the blower or under the humidifier plate.

I do to hope You didn’t get Water in Your ResMed neither.

Re: I miss having auto-start

The 560 P does have an auto start feature available though...takes just a couple of strong breaths to start it but you have to turn on that feature in the clinical setup menu area. Auto On...needs to be set to ON.....have you done that? sorry, didn’t explain— I can put the mask on, it’s reaching th...
