Re: Acceptable O2 level
Hi Everyone, I am using the Wellue SleepU Wrist Sleep Blood Oxygen Monitor to measure my O2 levels at night, and getting readings as low as 90%. Is 90% still an acceptable level? Or would this be an indication of a flow limitation perhaps during the night? TIA Obviously you have access to the Inter...

Sleep apnea and S.R.P.E
Hi everyone,
Has anyone perhaps heard of a link between sleep apnea and a rare condition called Sleep Related Painful (or Persistent) Erections (S.R.P.E)?
Or have any males on here perhaps experienced this condition?

Re: A CRY FOR HELP, Is this only sleep apnea
Hi, you still have a heck of a lot of Obstructions from what I can see on your chart. I'm sure the other guys will recommend upping your minimum pressure until those begin to disappear. Finding that sweet spot between getting rid of those and not having too much aerophagia is where you'll want to ai...

Try the P10 again but tape your mouth closed and wear a foam collar or chinstrap to keep the jaw closed. Best mask I found - zero leaks and no fiddling with it all night.

Re: Best sleep study center
I am looking into buying a CCTV setup with a dedicated hard drive. That will work, just a bit more pricey, but may not reveal anything in the end. Be sure to compare price to the Arlo - It connects via wire to your internet but the camera is wirelss and can be placed anywhere and can be moved anywh...

Re: Best sleep study center
One option would be a security camera with night vision. I have not bought any, but there are some cheap ones on Amazon.
Thanks. I bought a IP night vision camera but it was also a load of crud. The recordings on the SD card would go corrupt after an hour of recording and become un...

Re: Best sleep study center
If you don't see much air flow reduction or flagged events just prior to arousal segments...it's unlikely that the arousal is airway or breathing related. That leaves spontaneous and we don't know the cause. Have to look elsewhere for the crappy sleep cause because if it isn't airway related then c...

So many other things to blame.
Maybe a full blood panel would give a clue.

Re: Best sleep study center
You might take the time to scroll through the flow rate zoomed in and look for just arousal breathing segments to see how many you have. We don't always remember arousals but they can still wreck the sleep architecture. Arousal breathing is much more irregular than asleep breathing. It might be a l...

Its tough to admit but some days I truely just feel like chucking in the towel. My body is just wrecked from going on almost 6 years of terrible sleep every night.

Re: Best sleep study center
I see nothing on the reports or the zoomed in image to be able to blame unwanted symptoms on. Boring report...look elsewhere for reasons for feeling like crap. Yeah I suspected that. Whats annoying is the PS I had after all these home studies they said no OA or CA, only UARS and snoring. So thats m...
