Re: Flow Limitation
Thank you Dog Slobber for the comparison. Wow your graphs from the previous night look very neat with no erratic patterns! Thank you for the reassurance! Thank you palerider for the youtube video! Now that explains what flow limitation and other events are. That's very helpful especially to newbies....

Re: Flow Limitation
Miss Emerita, I increased the min pressure to 14 last night while max stays at 20. This morning is the most energetic that I have ever felt--no headaches, just that feeling of happiness for no reason. This is my graph for tonight. Will try minimum pressure of 15 as suggested by palerider. Have notic...

Re: Flow Limitation
Hi, these are my graphs last night. Am sorry am so quite new to this. If am not mistaken, Flow Limitation could refer to any occurence that could limit the flow of pressure/air. So the goal is, if am correct, to keep leaks low, keep AHI low, keep flow limitation low. I have dental braces also, so am...

What Causes an Increase in AHI?
Hi. Have been using Resmed S9 APAP for more than a month now. Have noticed that AHI has recently been at 1 to 2 compared to less than 1 last month. It's pressure is set at 10 to 20. There is also few mask leakage. May I ask what could possibly cause the AHI to rise? Thanks!!!

Re: Trying to donate 2 of our cpap machines
Hi, am looking for a used cpap machine to buy. Am 30yrs old from the Philippines and am currently trying to recover from an eating disorder. The edema from recovery efforts has led to sleep apnea which is then believed to cause the edema to stay/worsen. It has become a vicious cycle--the edema causi...
