You know maybe a good chunk of the AHI you see is from awake/arousal breathing false positives. You might want to take the time to learn how to distinguish between asleep breathing flagged events and awake/arousal breathing flagged events. Yes I have a nasal mask, which I used when I first got cpap, however I believe I’m a mouth breather.

I was quite surprised how I managed to cope with 6 pressure, I figured it must be ok off the bat? But as I say it hasn’t improved my ahi.

I tried it at 6.5 but I woke up during the night feeling really full of air and had to turn it back to 6. Ahi was 6.1 this morning

Any thoughts?

No I don’t think I was awake at 5:45.

I think I did wake during the night briefly possibly around 2am.

As I say when I woke up, I felt like there may have been air leaks, the mask seemed noisier than usual.
