Re: terrible sleep quality

From looking at the flow chart, I would say that the vast majority of events are happening after an arousal event - not necessarily awake, but definitely disturbed sleep. I rarely have trouble falling asleep - I just don’t stay asleep longer than about an hour at a time - very fractured sleep patter...

Re: terrible sleep quality

Here is the last screenshot, but with the two other event flags turned on. Also, the shot for last night. From the chart and the way I feel, I basically got little to no sleep last night. I remember numerous times waking up and adjusting the mask to eliminate the "farting" leak sounds, but the only ...

Re: terrible sleep quality

Increased minimum pressure to 6, maximum to 20, and changed EPR from 3 to 2. After 3 nights of this, I feel a bit worse, and my AHI is not improving. I will up the minimum to 8 tonight - going from 4 to 8 right away just seemed like too drastic a change at first - to see if that helps. I must admit ...

Re: terrible sleep quality

Not sure how OSCAR works, but the flow rate and other graphs are for the highlighted section only - there is a large gap where I had the machine turned off while I relaxed and read before I tried to go back to sleep. The last hour or two after I tried to go back to sleep is excluded from those graphs.

edit: as you can see, the numbers have gotten worse each night since I upped the pressure.

Re: terrible sleep quality

Iet's see a night or two of that. It’s been 3 nights with a minimum pressure of 6, all of which had an AHÍ of 7-9, along with the same basic pattern as the one I posted. I don’t feel any worse than I did before, so I have no problem continuing the experiment. I guess I should post a new screenshot ...

NoOnesPerfect therapy thread

I started my APAP therapy at the beginning of May, and still have not had one decent night of sleep - been that way for many years though. I sleep 45 minutes to an hour and have an arousal event of some sort. Fall asleep again, and the story repeats all night long. I am exhausted all day every day. ...

How Do I find out which model I have of the airsince 10? I was just going by the fact that I paid $1500 for it.
I assumed it was the flag ship of the Resmed line!
Check the front of your machine in the lower right corner - that’s where mine shows the model.

You cannot say that without knowing which of the *FOUR* different Resmed Airsense 10 machines the OP got.
Point taken.

Re: Did I Get Ripped Off?

To be fair to the DME, $1450 USD is the MSRP for that machine. That’s the same thing hospitals and doctors do - people paying cash pay a ridiculous amount for services, while insurance companies, while still being gouged, pay a lot less. I wonder if the DME would be open to haggling or negotiating o...

Re: Design Student Honours CPAP Survey

There was a typo - contected instead of contacted - toward the end of the survey. Obviously not a big deal of course. I would have liked to have seen an open ended “anything else you would like to say?” box at the end also.
