Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
It’s definitely not a straight line. And if my AHI goes above 1.0 I’m exhausted. It’s an interesting process.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
It’s been just under two months of mostly good AHI and decent sleep. 7-8 hours broken into 3-4 segments. Energy seems to be picking up as of today, as in I woke up feeling normal. It lasted until noon. Is two months out a documented/known energy improvement turning point? Or is this entirely an indi...

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
Twelve nights of excellent AHI.
I woke up up this morning and for about half an hour my head felt normal and the weakness subsided. I just walked about the house testing it and enjoying it. Feeling kinda sorta human.

Re: OT Potassium
In my opinion, and I’m not a health care professional, the 4.7 gram recommendation for K+ is inflated. Even when eating a clean diet including avocado, banana, coconut, tomato, squash, etc., it’s difficult to reach the RDA. Unless clinically diagnosed with potassium deficiency and told how much supp...

Bleep DreamPort without Rx
What online vendors sell the Bleep DreamPort? I found one vendor so far for what seems too expensive even for a non-Rx purchase.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
Analysis please? I feel like I'm on slightly excessive minimum pressure. Ears popping, nausea and vertigo. Definitely swallowing some air. Otherwise, 6 nights of almost no events. I’m getting the first real sleep I’ve gotten in years and I’m feeling more energy. FWIW, I'm the symptomatically hyperse...

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
Six consecutive nights with AHI of 1.1-0.5 (a first) and it seems that my elevated blood sugar has dropped to almost normal. Wow. Looks like I have to cut back on metformin. Vertigo could be due to too high a metformin dose. Lactic acidosis I don’t need.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
I’m dealing with vertigo the morning after sleeping with APAP at minimum pressure 11. Up from 10-10.5 the 5 days prior. Who knows...I’ll cut back to 10.5 tonight. AHI has been great.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
My sleep doc’s response to my asking for pressure increase from 5 due to air hunger was, to paraphrase, ‘the machine takes care of your pressure needs.’ My sleep apnea onset goes back 32 years. That was when I had a navel orange-sized meningioma excised from my brain. Meningiomas have a unique procl...

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
Five nights in at 10-10.5. AHI of 0.5 this morning. Two centrals, no obstructives, three hypopneas. Feeling ever so slightly but qualitatively better in terms of weakness and fatigue.

Re: Recent Sleepyhead data
Yesterday was 419 days total so far on APAP. Average AHI over that time frame is 3.47446301. Clearly too high for me, although not too high by the idiotic 5.5 AHI insurance guidelines. AHI ranged from 0.3 to 15.3. Far too many AHIs of just over 8. Indicates to me that the sleep doc should have been ...
