Thanks for the tips. I was hoping that Resmed made a better replacement but I haven't found one. One of these options might work.
Thanks!

Resmed 10 nasal pillow for her alternative attachments?
I am using a nasal pillow and the band that attaches it around my head doesn't stay on very well. My hair is very fine and the lower half slides up to the top of my head all the time causing leaks. I've tried putting it under my hair but that doesn't always work either. If I make it any tighter, it ...

Sleepyhead results
I thought I would post two nights of my sleepyhead results to see if anyone can give me an analysis. I have been using my cpap for about a week but I just got an SD card two nights ago. Last night I started using a cpap pillow that I bought from Amazon and I got about 8 hours of sleep, a big improve...

Re: ResMed Air Sense 10 settings questions
Thanks, Miss Emerita and Palerider. I downloaded the clinician manual and I'll read it.
So, Palerider, the bubbles are not aerophagia? Do you know what could be causing them?
Thanks!
Mo

Re: ResMed Air Sense 10 settings questions
LSAT and Jas_Williams, As I stated, I tried to set the ramp differently but the only options I see are either "auto" or "45". I don't see a way to turn it off. I would like to know if there is something I am missing in order to change that setting because I can't do it with the options I am seeing. ...

ResMed Air Sense 10 settings questions
Most of my settings are on auto. Ramp, climate, hose temp are all auto. I have trouble breathing in AND out at the start. I feel like I am not getting enough air in and then have trouble exhaling. Once the ramp has reached at least 5, breathing in becomes easier. I thought that maybe I could adjust ...

Re: Rough Start - But advice on this site is helping!
So, I downloaded Sleepyhead to try it out and went to get the SD card from my machine and there wasn't one....?!!! How does it transmit the information to the ResMed Air app without one? It kinda irks me a little. So I have to wait until I see the doctor in three months in order for THEM to tell me ...

Re: Rough Start - But advice on this site is helping!
Thanks, Palerider. I will look into getting one soon. Zonker, I have one but I will have to fiddle with it to get it right. I don't really want to resort to it because it isn't very comfortable. Am I right in assuming that the leaking mask is not really the mask itself but my big mouth being open? T...

Palerider, I only meant an oximeter from a Medical Device company. On Amazon, they have a disclaimer that these are for recreational use only.

Rough Start - But advice on this site is helping!
I just started using a cpap machine and had a few glitches, the first one being the DME gave me the wrong mask. I had to go back the next day and get the one I wanted. I do have a problem with opening my mouth at night but I hate having something big and bulky on my face. I am using a nasal pillow t...
