Re: Travel Cpap machine
Definitely try the machine for a few nights prior to travel. I have a Breas Z2 Auto. It does make traveling light a lot easier. The therapy is decent, but a bit different than the Airsense units. I had to use that machine for a few months when my first Airsense 10 Autoset was out for repair before e...

Re: Repacement for Resmed Humidair water chamber.
Yes i Purchesed them twice. Awful. Leaked almost immediately. Also did not fully lock in to place like the Resmed units. It slides in to the machine, but there is not any tooling to hold it in place. Returned the last 2 I purchased. In my opinion, your best bet is to purchase the Cleanable Resmed ch...

Re: Airsense 11 leaking air from around humidifier chamber
Here is another thing that may help. When filling your chamber, after cleaning and rinsing the chamber, close it first before filling with water. Then, holding it with the gasket and holes facking upward, fill it through the hold with the silicone gasket just to the level where the lip on the front s...

Success for now at least. Worked fine yesterday evening, and I am in now with no VPN.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Airsense 11: weird smell
I had a similar issue with my first Airsense 11. A somewhat "sweet" electrical smell. I suspect this is actually from the heating plate, despite that not seeming to be the case in your example. When this happened to my machine, I also developed leaks from the water tanks within a short period of tim...

Does everything work normally if you don't run out of water?
Is there a specific issue that makes you run out of water?

Re: Travel machines
I have a Z2 Auto. In my previous job, I traveled a bit, and since luggage space was an issue for me, I purchased one of those. My comments are the following. >All Travel Machines not as quiet as a Resmed Airsense 10/11. >The noise tends to be not so much from the machine itself, but is transfered up...

Re: Anyone use hose lift or hose buddy system?
These are all good suggestions. I just have a second pillow that i position on edge behind by sleep pillow. I route the hose from the machine, first slightly downward, and then I route it up behind the back of the pillow, and over the top of the pillow. It costs nothing extra, and I don't have to at...

Re: Choosing a replacement cpap
Both machines have advangages and disadvantages. My original Airsense 10 developed a problem about one year in. The auto start and stop quit working, and then even with that feature turned off, I was waking up starving for air. It was not caused by a leak. Resmed first attempted a repair, and then f...

Re: Choosing a replacement cpap
As far as the therapy, they are identical. The 11 adds the "for her" algorythm, if you think you may need that. Both are excellent machines. The 10 is tried and true. It's a little larger than the 11. Both are very quiet. The original water tub on the 10 had a tendency to leak around the seam. The n...

Re: Mysterious banning for spam has hit again...
Besides VPN, another way is just to use the TOR browser option on Brave or Chrome.
It's a bit slower, but it's easier than firing up my VPN each time.
