Hello Robo Pop, don't give up, as others have said you just need better support from your doctor and supplier. And if you don't get it, find a different one. because i was like you but now my events per hour rarely goes over 2!!! once you get your setting dialed in you won't go back.

Re: Advice on buying a used cpap machine
if you are diligent and keep looking around you will find new or even very low hours used machines to alleviate any fears. This forum seems to have many machines for sale and don't forget to try sites like OfferUp and LetGo also. I got a machine with only 14 hours for a very very good price on Offer...

Very good point, my acid reflux virtually went away gradually soon after I started using my machine.

Re: Remaining Tank Water
i use distilled water and i throw away every morning and let my tank open to air dry.
i also unplug my hose from the machine and let it hang.
not sure if this is over kill or not but i feel better when the machine and all pieces stay dry when not in use.
at any rate makes me feel better.

Re: Hello - Travel CPAP
I know size is a consideration here but my understanding is that most airlines will allow you to bring a machine with no penalty since it is a medical device. Would it not make more sense to get a second machine exactly what you use at home?

Re: Feeling Down
i was feeling the same. i am about 6 months in using it. just this last weekend i went one day without it. what a mistake that was. i was miserable the next day and truly realized how much this machine helps me. do not worry about not having the ah-ha moment right away. believe me once you do get us...

It was hard as hell, but now I won't sleep without it....
been lurking for a while but i just recently registered. I just want to thank the posters here with all the good advice. It took me a good 2 months to get used to it. the Ah ha moment for me came when i realized this : just put up with any uncomfortableness of the mask because in 5 minutes you will ...
