Re: Greentree's Therapy
Hello all, I now have a brand new Air Curve 10 ASV to use! I have two nights of data to report. First night my AHI was 0.39! Second night was 1.59. I am so encouraged that I finally am able to get rid of the treatment emergent central apnea that I developed after beginning apap treatment in December...

Re: Greentree's Therapy
Yes, you did Kate. You have sharp eyes! I have been having a very difficult time getting my health provider to communicate with my DME. My prescription for the ST machine was being held at the DME. No one told me what was going on until I called to see what the status was. Turns out the DME people d...

Hello Olive Garden Fiend, Welcome to the forum. You have come to the right place to get some help with your cpap issues. Our regular greeter and welcomer, Zonker, is in the midst of a big move and may temporarily not be available to give you his wonderful greeting, so I thought I would just tell you...

Re: Greentree's Therapy
Yes, it is that bad. Thanks, Palerider, Can you give me some ammunition about it to use when I hear back from the NP at the clinic? The ST is ancient, stupid tech. ALL it does is whack you with a high PS, constantly, which will exacerbate central apnea. If the PS on the ST isn't high enough to *cau...

Re: Greentree's Therapy
You poor thing - what a drag that you ended up with the CA response to your therapy. Thanks, Kate. Yes, I was hoping for better news but really felt deep down that this was the direction things were going. I am going to try as hard as I can to see if I can pry an ASV out of them instead of the ST. ...

Re: Greentree's Therapy
Hello forum friends, I am back on the forum after waiting 5 months to be seen for a second titration study at a nearby University Sleep Disorders Clinic. That was completed recently and I have some questions I am hoping you can help me with. I am still, at this moment, using my Air Sense 10 For Her....

Re: Kate's Therapy
Last night. I slept really well. Hi Kate, I have been following your saga and am absolutely delighted that you finally got your new machine and even better, that you are having great results with it. I hope to be following your footsteps the end of the summer when I will be seen at the Sleep Disord...

Re: Question regarding Sleepyhead Daily...
In the case of ResMed machines like you are using, for (Edit: for CA & OA events, DogSlobbers right on H's being weird, who knows what ResMed means by durations on those) they are durations in seconds. Just a reference for those with Philips Respironics machines, unfortunately we don't yet exactly ...

Re: Question regarding Sleepyhead Daily...
For reasons I don't understand Hypopneas (H) are always reported as 10 seconds. Not sure, but I believe Unclassified Apneas (UA) ar also always reports as 10 seconds. I don't have enough of them to verify. Thanks, Dogslobber. That is a mystery to me too. Maybe someone will come along and enlighten ...

Re: Question regarding Sleepyhead Daily...
I would like to know if the tiny, red numbers you can see when you hover over an individual daily chart event is indicative of the number of seconds that you aren't breathing? Look on the left side of the screen, and click on the Events tab. You will see lists of the events including the length of ...

Re: Greentree's Therapy
Well it's Periodic Breathing but not classic Cheyne Stokes Respiration IMHO. There are maybe a couple that look Cheyne Stokes ish....to me but the bulk of the flow rate doesn't look like CSR. Some are definitely preceded by some sort of arousal breath....but some aren't. So a mixture of asleep brea...
