DreamStation Auto - New loud noise on exhale

I have been using a DreamStation Auto since last December. Overall, it has worked fine until the last couple nights. Suddenly, it has started making a strange noise part way through my exhale. The best way I can describe it is a long drawn out B-O-I-N-G sound. Except it's pretty low pitched. But as ...

Re: New CPAP user serious Issue with feelings of depression and anxiety

Chuckdb3684, I'm only a few months into CPAP myself and find aspects of it to be stressful. The recommended cleaning schedule. The cost of equipment and regular supplies and some pushy DME's will try to keep you on the schedule that provides them with the most profit. The thought of strapping this s...

Re: DreamStation vs. DreamStation Go - size difference

Just FYI, Secondwind sold their Go’s in like 24 hours. When I called, he said it took them 6-8 months to acquire the few they sold. He said people must keep them if the get one.

Re: AirMini vs Dreamstation Go - Weight Issue

I just carry my CPAP as an additional bag as you get medical devices as an additional carry on That's a very important point! My local respiratory therapist kept telling me I didn't need a travel machine and my dreamstation came with a (pretty large) travel bag. She put my prescription right in tha...

Any experience with HME's with F20/F30 masks?

Has anyone tried the heat moisture exchangers with F20 or F30 masks. I mentioned the issue that I had with it in a Dreamstation Go thread, but thought I'd break it out to see if any of you wise souls have any advise. Anyway, I bought a DreamStation Go and was hoping to be able to fly without the hum...

Re: AirMini vs Dreamstation Go - Weight Issue

I just purchased a Go and looked at the AirMini too. I didn't get to see the power supply, just the demo unit at my local shop. My deciding factors were the proprietary mask requirements (which if you search can be worked around with 'hacking'), humidification, and the built in power supply. The Air...

Re: Help with mask choose

Im pretty new to CPAP too. A mask is all about fit. My local place does loaners and allows exchanges and I went through several to find what I liked. I did end up with a F20 AirFit and like it. I believe the for her may have small headgear. Other than that I am assuming the same. There’s also AirTou...

Re: Dreamstation GO

I've only had a CPAP since about the first of December (Dreamstation Auto). I'm still learning to not fight with it, but have zero plans to give it up because I feel much better. I haven't traveled with it, but have several trips coming up and didn't want to risk breaking my primary, so I ordered a ...

Re: Dreamstation GO

I just received the Humidifier and can confirm it fits with the Go in the medium case. Will post a complete review later today. THANKS! My Go is on it's way and I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to put it in for travel, so it's very nice to have this option on the table. Also thinking a...

Re: Dreamstation GO

It’s the same size as the battery, though with its sharp corners it doesn’t fit in the small case by itself, only the medium case with the Dreamstation Go. Have you personally confirmed/tested this? I am just looking for confirmation that someone has actually put the Go with humidifer in the medium...
