I am in the same boat. I have dense wavy hair that I straighten and now I have developed a ridge in the back of my hair. I can’t even get it out with a flat iron. Very annoying. I bought a cheap satin sleep cap at Walgreens and will give it a try but it’s just another ridiculous thing to wear.
