Re: Bleep dreamport CPAP mask
I personally know two previous full face users that switched to the bleep successfully. I convinced both to try it. One was given a full face mask without seeing a nasal mask right out of the sleep lab at a pressure of 8. Stupidity on the sleep techs part! Never needed a full face. The other guy mo...

I tried the tennis ball but it would move to the side.I made my on. Are there any other ways ? can you post some charts? as others have indicated, getting your therapy optimized is the best solution. personally, my ahi has been under 1 for the last 6 months, with an occasional night between 1-2. al...

Re: Patients With Obstructive Sleep Apnea Still Benefit From Suboptimal CPAP Adherence
To put it more simply "some is better than none." Ideally, CPAP patients should use the machine every time they sleep and for the entire time. However, this study shows a benefit for even partial compliance. Hopefully, this will make it harder for them to take the machines away from those who don't...

I have one. As far as diameter, it's the perfect fit, but it slides down over my eyes shortly after I get into bed.

Re: Nasal pillow mask and side sleepers
I use a dreamwear nasal pillow mask. I've found the trick is to start off with your face angled toward your pillow and once your head is on the pillow, turn it so your face is parallel with the pillow. I hope that makes sense lol. This way you end up in a position where you're slightly pulling the m...

Re: FREE Circadiance SleepWeaver Advance mask and headgear
Apria sent me an incorrect mask. They are replacing with the correct one and said to "dispose" of the wrong one. So this mask and gear - new and never out of the box - is available first come first served. "One size fits most." Reviews are available on CPAP.com. I love the soft masks, but prefer th...

Re: 2 Weeks of Treatment (a few OSCAR charts included)
If you are happy with the settings I see no urgent need to change them or anything for that matter. The leaks are well within the machine's ability to compensate and unless they are waking you up I wouldn't worry about them. I wouldn't even worry about those very short periods in large leak. They a...

Re: Had to use three extension cords
If I was to follow all the recommendations I have heard about travel with CPAP, I would need to bring, an extra mask, extra cables, extra hose, extra machine, gallon of distilled water and 3 extension cords....I'm staying home! Better bring two gallons, remember, always have a spare! I alway...

Re: 2 Weeks of Treatment (a few OSCAR charts included)
That's some high pressure! I suffer even at 12 cm... how does it feel breathing at 20? I use the ramp feature for 20 minutes so it gets to 20 after I fall asleep. It feels a little weird when I'm falling asleep, but when I wake up in the morning and it's blasting at maximum pressure, it honestly fe...

Re: 2 Weeks of Treatment (a few OSCAR charts included)
It looks like the nasal mask isn't sealing, or you're mouth leaking. Either way I would fix it and you may want to try a mask that covers the mouth later, if it is hard to fix. You were sleep labed on the machine and the script was min epap 16, PS4? I think the lab got it right. You could increase ...
