Re: Bipap turns off at night
Thanks everyone! Return it. It's under warranty anyway....you shouldn't be having to "fix it". Certainly. And contact your insurance to let them know you are having this problem. Also ask them if you can get a Resmed instead. I've got the Prisma 25S Auto Bipap, and everytime I use it, it turns off a...

Re: Bipap turns off at night
Hi, I've got the Prisma 25S Auto Bipap, and everytime I use it, it turns off at night. I have smart start and smart stop turned off, so I feel like this shouldn't happen, even if my mask was leaking. Does anyone have an idea what could be happening here? Unfortunately the machine is not compatible ...

Re: Bipap turns off at night
How old is the machine? I see you registered in 2019, but that was not your machine then. I got the machine in October or November last year. So it should be 7 or 8 months old. would it still be under warranty, then? the "problem" is that i don't see a lot of people logging in here that have that m...

Re: Full Face mask is leaking
I had a huge leak for a number of nights on an 'F30 and eventually I discovered he silicon had disconnected from the plastic, where it shouldn't have. I had to replace the mask Thanks! I checked on my mask, this doesn't seem to be the case for me. The leak is where the mask is on my skin, it doesn'...

Re: Full Face mask is leaking
Also...how old is the headgear of the current mask? Maybe just need fresh new headgear??? But if you have been itching to try something new anyway...maybe now is a good time. Sorry I am of zero help for choosing or fitting because I don't use a FFM but the same thought can also be applied to nasal ...

Re: Full Face mask is leaking
Have you carefully reviewed three or four youtube videos on fitting and adjusting the F20? It could be as simple as the headgear needs readjusting. Hi, thanks! Yes, I did see videos on fitting the F20 and tried adjusting the headgear, unfortunately it didn't help. Currently I am strapping it quite ...

Full Face mask is leaking
Hello, after having gained some weight my full face mask doesn't seem to fit my face anymore and is leaking a lot, especially from the lower part and on the sides. It's the Resmed Airfit F20 for her mask medium size. I can't get a new mask fitting for a while, so I want to buy a new mask or a new cu...

Re: Apap is hissing and pressure feels too low
I do have an oximeter which is capable of recording, unfortunately each time I have tried it, it fell off during the night. I might try taping it to my finger. I do have weakness and dizziness a lot, occasionally nausea as well, also tachycardia. I feel short of air when I lie down, also when awake...

Re: Apap is hissing and pressure feels too low
I measured both my regular and for her machine, and the pressure seems to be correct on both machines. Which I did not expect, as I was 100% sure the pressure would be way lower than it should be. I am left feeling confused, as I used to be able to breathe well and comfortably on a min pressure of ...

Re: Apap is hissing and pressure feels too low
A couple of thoughts from left field. Could you get hold of a recording oximeter, preferably one that is compatible with Oscar? It might be good to be sure you are actually getting enough air. And do you have any of these other symptoms of panic attacks: pounding or racing heart, sweating, chills, ...

Re: Apap is hissing and pressure feels too low
Cheapest is of course homemade which is fairly simple but if you end up wanting to purchase... https://www.cpap.com/search?query=manometer or you can check Amazon or EBay for similar product. Thanks Pugsy! I ended up building my own U shape manometer. Update on that: I measured both my regular and ...
