Re: CPAP machine hit or miss....?

Last night was a disaster. I would kill for a little consistency.

Should I try adjusting the pressure up? It looks like last night it was set at 9 but capped out and maybe caused me to wake up?

Re: CPAP machine hit or miss....?

Some of the on/off events are certainly correlated to pressure and/or apnea events, like the two from last night. I included zoomed up pictures if you want to see from last night. But these aren't really the ones I am talking about. Im more concerned about waking up when nothing happened. Take a loo...

Re: CPAP machine hit or miss....?

Last night was a little bit better, but just a little bit. I can feel the drag this morning for sure. I remember waking up once and NOT resetting the pressure, so I woke up at least one more time then this graph indicates. I also took the mask off after 7 hours 47 minutes and slept one more hour, an...

Re: CPAP machine hit or miss....?

Hi guys its me again; I went to the doctor sometime early March, and she said we should do the variable pressure settings as you guys had suggested. So we set it to 5-8, she told me to try it out for a week then well look at the data again. After one week we decided to switch it to 5-9 with a 45 min...

Re: CPAP machine hit or miss....?

Yes that certainly looks like it might not be the magic pill I was looking for. I have talked with 2 people who have said the surgeries they have had it was like night and day and they sleep the night away and wake up feeling great every day. I think I'll make an appointment with the sleep doctor. I...

Re: CPAP machine hit or miss....?

I recommend whatever works for you... Experiment to find out what feels best, for you
I think I might experiment with the surgery option. This stuff has been so hit and miss. 1 or 2 days good for every 4 bad it seems. Im tired.

Re: CPAP machine hit or miss....?

Hey guys its me again. Sleep has been OK overall. I had the pressure set up higher but then I turned it down to 5-10 because I kept getting woken up, and when I woke up I found the pressure was so high it was impossible to get back to sleep. So I would quickly turn the machine on/off to reset the pr...

Re: CPAP machine hit or miss....?

Ok last night was better than the average of the last two weeks, but not nearly as good as the previous night. I remember multiple times waking up to a leak and having to either take my mask of and restart or resituating it again. Are there any suggestions to prevent this leak and wake me up once th...

Re: CPAP machine hit or miss....?

Today I feel great. Fresh, awake, alert etc.. Except for some soreness from my lower back which I think is just from being in bed too much on my side. It still took me awhile to fall asleep. I tried going to bed at 11 but didn't fall asleep until around 1 I think.

Re: CPAP machine hit or miss....?

maybe i've missed this, but is there a reason why you are set at a fixed pressure?
What's the other option besides fixed pressure?

does the data from last night suggest anything???
