Re: Feeling worse on cpap.

What settings do you have on your machine now? The puffed out cheeks must be because you exhale thhrough your throat instead of your nose, and the air cannot escape your lips. If you are wearing your full face mask, it is OK to open your lips and let the breath out - you don't need to avoid mouth b...

Re: Still having bleeping sleep issues

People with chronic insomnia tend to have hyper vigilant brains....the brain is on hyper alert status to warn the human about anything new in the routine. The brain worries too much about the least little thing and wakes its human up in the process. Some of it may be medication side effects adding ...

Re: Feeling worse on cpap.

I have been trying to identify things that are interfering with my sleep, I am a side sleeper, I prefer the left side over the right but this happens more on the left side than the right.. In the middle of sleep all of a sudden my cheeks puff up really big, sort of like when you pull the cord on a i...

Re: Feeling Down

Yes, its custom: needle and thread and pieces cut out of an old fleece coat. I just wanted ziuaploia to know, if you just keep trying things, little by little things work out. Re: Feeling worse on cpap.

Put the machine in auto mode and set the pressures 11 to 20 I tried the machine on autopap..worse 3 nights ever..I did 10-15. You may have tried auto and perhaps they were 3 bad nights, but I doubt being on APAP was the cause. You have been struggling, during part of the struggles you now believe A...

Sleep Apnea and eyes

Hi everyone, I hope it's ok that I put this in a new thread,

I was wondering about your experience with vision problems, eye pain, eyesight etc before starting cpap and how if any they changed for better or worse after getting your apnea under control and getting better sleep.

Thanks

Re: Feeling worse on cpap.

Percentage of what??? PB or Large Leak??? That's just the percent of time you might have spent over the entire night. RERAs...we actually like to see none or maybe one. For sure don't like to see groupings. I suspect you are having a lot of arousals which the machine can't flag because it really ca...
