How often should you replace F20 mask?
I have the F20 memory foam mask. I wipe it down with a baby wipe daily, but I feel the foam is never clean. I have used it for 2-3 weeks and am noticing a little wear on it already. The DME is sending out a new one. I know I don’t have to go by their schedule, but how often do you typically replace ...

Replacing filters
How often do you replace the disposable filters? The machine says twice a month and the DME has already sent me a refill pack, but the original filter still looks clean. Should I replace it anyway?

Cpap wipes vs. baby wipes
What should I use for cleaning my F20 mask with memory foam? I know I’m not supposed to wash with water. Is it worth it to buy Cpap wipes when I already have baby wipes?

Re: Resmed AirTouch F20
I finally got the mask tight enough to earn a good report. Thing is, I could barely feel the air coming in my mask, and the water reservoir was mostly full. Did I have it too tight?

Re: Resmed AirTouch F20
Thanks for all the tips. I first had the Ascend full face mask, but that seemed to be making me break out with acne, so the DME shipped this new one only a week into my therapy. My roommate said I sounded like I was struggling to breathe last night.

Resmed AirTouch F20
I just started using this last night. Unfortunately, I got a frowny face on the machine and 0 points on the My Air app for mask seal. My question is, for the foam lining, Am I supposed to smush that down on my face to create the seal? At first, I didn’t, but there was leakage by my forehead and eyes...

Can’t stop mask leaks
I have only been on APAP for a week. I have an Ascend full face mask with gel cushions. It is comfortable, but I always end up having massive leaks during the night. Eventually, usually after the required compliance hours, I take off the mask and go back to sleep. I keep tightening the mask, but it ...

Re: Finished Home Study w/ prescription for CPAP- What to expect next?
My DME is in a different state. They didn’t let me choose, but, good thing, it is a good machine and mask.

Re: Overnight oximetry criteria for justifying a PSG
Can you ask your primary care physician or an ear, nose, and throat doc for an at-home sleep study? My ent ordered one for me just based on my health questionnaire and the fact that I was asking about a deviated septum. My insurance would not pay for the in-lab study, so I did the at-home version. A...

Re: Lincare is Rude & Incompetent
My DME is a Classic Sleep Care out of CA. They seem to be on the ball. They ship FedEx, so things come quickly. When my mask came cracked, they sent out a new one in a few days. I was able to email an RN when I had trouble my first night. Then a worker has called me twice to see how things are going.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I took your advice and no knocking sounds, last night. Unfortunately, I have noticed some pimples popping up.
