Re: Quick Question - Bix CP190 CPAP battery not charging?
Thanks, it's definitely dead. I will know for next time! I was very nervous about ending up camping with no CPAP so I went ahead and ordered a Jackery Explorer 240 , after reading the many comments about it, because I could get my hands on it today. It's not officially powerful enough for a CPAP but...

Quick Question - Bix CP190 CPAP battery not charging?
Please help - I am going camping in a few days and haven't used the CP190 battery in ummmmm three years. (which I am just realizing was not the best practice) It's not charging. I can't find my docs, nor any docs online. Is this supposed to charge with the power switch on or off or does it matter? T...

Re: Heated tube not heating - raining in my nose - any ideas?
It was set to auto. I changed it so temp was set to 84 (or whatever the highest was) and turned humidity down to 4 then 3. At 3 I can sleep through the night. Room is cool. I get it to mid-60's before bed and then it drops to upper 50's at night, depends somewhat on the weather (I am in New England)...

Heated tube not heating - raining in my nose - any ideas?
I have a Resmed Airsense 10 with a nasal pillow and after several non-consecutive nights of waking up feeling that I just HAD to rip the thing off my face, I realized that the tube is not heating and there is water accumulating in the pillows. I've turned down the humidity which helps somewhat. This...

Re: :?: How does the CPAP detect central vs obstructive events?
Thank you both, that makes sense. So central apnea the air way is open, and the machine doesn't have an O2 sensor - so is it just saying there is too big a time gap between breaths?

:?: How does the CPAP detect central vs obstructive events?
Hi, I'm new to this, tonight will be my 7th night with the CPAP. I'm very glad to have found this board! I had a home sleep study with an AHI of 22 (which they called very severe but I'm seeing higher numbers posted here). According to the study those were all OSA. This little machine is reporting a...
