Re: Still struggling with bipap
No I’ve never had that. He just started me with APAP 5-15. When that was giving me AHIs of 4-7, he decided to try bipap andthats when everything started to go downhill. I see him May 16 and have to buy a machine at that point as I’ve been trialing since October.

Re: Still struggling with bipap
Hi Pugsy, Here are my last 3 nights. The first night I felt like I barely slept at all. The second night I felt that I slept ok but not great. Last night I slept well but woke up at 5:00 am and couldn't get back to sleep. screenshot-20190329-170951.png screenshot-20190329-171006.png screenshot-20190...

Re: Still struggling with bipap
Thanks Pugsy. I will try that tonight. I really have to wonder if my long-standing insomnia has been causing a lot of my variations. It’s been under control with meds for years but I think adding a mask has brought it back. Unfortunately the AHI of 1 was on my previous machine - the resmed Cpap so I...

Hi Pugsy and all. I’m getting worse. 2 nights ago I had an AHI if 8.6. 38 central. 20 some OA and 28 hypopnea. Last night was AHI of 13 but DreamMapper isn’t updating so I don’t have my specifics. My husband isn’t available to download data TIL tomorrow but I’m so discouraged. I did better on a stea...

Re: Back to bipap
Very bad night. I had insomnia and barely slept. I moved the Epap to 19.5 but for some reason the pressure was really bothering me and my ears felt pressured. I put it back to 19. Even though I barely slept my AHI was 10.4 with 28 clear, 35 OA and 28 Hypopneas.

Re: Back to bipap
Sounds good. Should I be concerned about the number of centrals? I will put up more data in 2 nights. You’ve been so helpful. Thank you.

Re: Back to bipap
I never sleep on my back so I doubt it. My ramp time is 40 minutes I think. It starts at 8.

Re: Back to bipap
Hi Pugsy. My husband will tonight try and figure out how to retrieve and post my data. As an update though- last night I slept 8.5 hours and had an AHi of 5.7. Central 12, obstructive 26 and hypopneas 11. My 90% IPAP went up to 23.5!

Re: Back to bipap
Update. Last night I raised the epap to 19. My 90% IPAP went up to 21.5. My AHI was still 7.9. 36 clear, 12 obstructive and 20 hypopneas. Slept 8.5 hours but had a couple of awakenings.
