Thanks, the help and reassurance was greatly appreciated. I was able to reach his Dr and they are making some changes to the machine, I believe raising the pressure range. They want me to send reports again after a week with the changes and they will review them.

thanks! I am sending his sleep Dr the graphs and maybe he will feel differently? His PA said they looked good- I am confused for sure. If anyone could lead me to a site, or to a worksheet where I might be able to understand the reports generated by the pulse oximeter-that would be great!! I have found a lot of information on AHI and not as much on the ODI- except that you should be checked for sleep apnea. My husband's AHI is usual...

The initial test was without Cpap
The second test was with Cpap
I have been very active in years before but less the last couple years, due to fatigue.
I live at 5,500 ft
No medication but for hypothyroid.

I have not had a test with the Cpap yet- he just did the pulse oximetry.

Hi! Thanks for any input—I am new to Cpap —user for 3 months initial test AHI 29.6, mean O2 89, min 81, 69 Hypopnoeas 55 year old female, BMI 25, stage 3 CKD, autoimmune disorder (lupus-like) slight asthma, good BP, no tobacco.
