After making a cpap machine change, how long should you wait before making additional changes?
I am making one change on my Resmed Airsense 10 in the pressure. How long should I wait to access the results and consider making another change? A day, a few days or a week?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Obese w/a big gut and RERA's
CPAP can be helpful to people of all gut sizes. If obesity is restricting breathing, bilevel can sometimes help improve matters. Obese w/a big gut and RERA's
I am very obese. I have lost 70 pounds in the past 10 months and have another 50 pounds to go to a reasonable goal weight for me. I wake up a lot during every night typically to either go the the rest room (3-4 times) or back ache from sleeping on my back. I cannot sleep on my side because my huge g...

Sore Lower Back from 10" wedge
I am a back sleeper & for the last 4-5 years have been using a 10" wedge which seems to lower my AHI as my fat stomach makes breathing difficult. However I suspect the wedge could be creating my lower back issues because my lower back is really sore when I wake up every morning. Is anyone dealing wi...

Mouth breathing with a full face mask
I am definitely a mouth breather. I have tried many different masks and am using a FF mask now. The CPAP is not detecting any major leaks. Would using a scunci and or cervical collar land me better therapy? Or does mouth breathing matter when using a FF mask?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hello, I am a newbie. I use a full face mask because I am a mouth breather. Is it necessary to use a scunchi or a collar? Please offer a recommendation. Thanks.

Re: Please help me adjust machine settings!
you know, this sites premise is to help share knowledge & try to help someone in need with CPAP issues. To be near sleepless for weeks is not fun. To make it worse, a couple of long-time forum wise guys try to be funny at the expense of another, and just look plain stupid from where I am at.

Re: Please help me adjust machine settings!
Hello, pitman. I have some ideas you could try to experiment with your settings, but several quick questions first. Do you know why you don't have any EPR (expiratory pressure relief -- drops your pressure when you exhale)? I am unsure why I do not have this setting. Do you know why you have such a...
