Re: Can anyone take a quick look & tell me what you think of my data?
Awake data doesn't mean much one way or the other. What prevented you from falling asleep? Do you take any medications of any kind? If so, what? I did fall asleep, it just felt like fitful sleep; tossing and turning a bunch. It was a bit warm in the room but beyond that, I don’t know. I don’t take ...

Can anyone take a quick look & tell me what you think of my data?

Anyone got any tips or ideas on how to improve this? AHI is low but i feel like i tossed and turned all night and n...

Re: Is there a way to find out how much Bi-Flex reduces EPAP?
I switched from a PR Bipap to a S9 VPAP and last night, I had a really hard time falling asleep cause I’m not used to exhaling against the full pressure. I set my epap and Ps so that I’d have the same exact settings on both machines (16.5/16.6 EPAP and 18.5/18.6 IPAP). Not sure if this makes much s...

Body automatically swallowing air?
This is my 2nd post related to this. So basically, it feels like my epiglottis is vibrating and it wakes me up right before I fall asleep. Also, there’s times where I can feel the air actually going into my stomach without me swallowing it or anything. It’s like my body is doing this automatically. ...

Re: Throat flapping, fatigue, and no events??
I’m going at this alone cause my doctor a couple years ago said I didn’t have any sort of sleep apnea What are your pressure settings? Do you use OSCAR? One thing that users do to see if they have events is to drop their pressure settings a notch or two every night. Observe whether events eventuall...

Throat flapping, fatigue, and no events??
So I have a bit of a weird problem. Lately, I’ve been falling asleep & I feel a sort of flapping sensation coming from the bottom of my throat, around where my epiglottis is. It wakes me up and I can’t fall asleep at all. It’s just come on sort of recently and I don’t know how to cope with it. I fee...

Re: Tossing and Turning constantly,
Do you have any recent report with the minimum pressure at around 10 or so? I would be interested in seeing what a lower minimum does. Sleep maintenance insomnia....google it. There's a long list of stuff that can cause it and it's not all about sleep apnea either. The machine only fixes one thing....

Re: Tossing and Turning constantly,
Yeah I edited my post because usually, my machine/OSCAR says I have leaks (even when my mask is strapped incredibly tight to my face, and leaks aren’t possible).

Re: Tossing and Turning constantly,
I don't have enough information to come up with any ideas. I have no idea why you keep waking up and it looks to me like you are using more and more pressure to try to deal with something that you don't even know if more pressure will fix. It is possible that you are having simple hypnic jerks that...

Tossing and Turning constantly,
Model: RemStar BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex Mask: F&P Simplus So this is from last night. Ive been having issues for the past few weeks where I've had to slowly increase my min EPAP cause it felt like I was starting to choke upon falling asleep. Ive basically maxed out the machine. I havent had any chang...
