Re: Nasal Mask
Two masks you might consider are the Fisher & Paykel Brevida (really under-rated in my opinion) and the ResMed N30i/P30i. I suspect the P30i nosepiece may cause the same issues with irritation you're experiencing with the P10, but the N30i seals very well for me. My only knock on it is that the head...

Re: fitting guide
The PDFs will work fine - provided your printer prints them at the correct scale. The sizing guide should have a ruler that prints on the edge of the sheet - compare against a physical ruler and confirm the measurements match and you're good to go. Otherwise, you may need to change the PDF scaling s...

Re: How low does your heart rate get while sleeping?
Like others in the thread, I'm routinely down in the 40-42 BPM range overnight and I've measured as low as 36 BPM on the occasional overnights where I've used my CMS PulseOx to monitor O2 levels. My regular resting HR is in the mid-60's typically. In visiting with my doc about it, I have no ill-effe...

Re: Anyone know what material is in heat moisture exchanger?
Fine particles from the floral foam would be my other concern, but it sounds like you're taking that into consideration already. From experience, it's very "crumbly" for lack of a better description.

Re: Anyone know what material is in heat moisture exchanger?
The ResMed HumidX product uses a paper-like material. From my experience, something like floral foam is probably too dense of a material, although I've never had hands on that style of HME.

Re: Anyone know what material is in heat moisture exchanger?
I researched this back when I first purchased an AirMini as I was curious what was being used in their HumidX product. There's not a lot of detail out there, but the best information I could find is that the HME material is usually made of foam or paper (something hygroscopic) that may also be treat...

Re: Choosing a Battery
Hamguy515, Thank you. I'll check out the 2nd battery you listed, although I'd still love to find one that's a wee bit lighter. Is it okay for use on a plane? Best. No, unfortunately the second battery (Bioenno LiFePO4) exceeds the FAA's maximum capacity restriction (must be <100Wh to carry aboard w...

Re: Choosing a Battery
Hello! I want a battery that weighs less than 5 lbs and is as small as possible. When I travel, I would prefer not to be carrying a heavy battery around. I am looking for a battery for my Resmed 10 airsense for when there are power outages (due, mainly, to thunder storms where I travel in the summe...

Re: Low Pressure CPAP Machine?
Are sure it wasn't posted more as a rant rather than a question? If so i could see why, I pass on most Rants, and I couldn't help except to point on to search the forum, it's been discussed to no end. I have never had the problem but once, in 14 years, and I have no idea why, probably something I a...

Re: Low Pressure CPAP Machine?
After the post sat out there for 3-4 weeks without so much as a reply, By the time a post sinks off the second page, it's unlikely someone will reply to it. I try to look at the second page a couple of times per week and "bump" anything that does not have a reply or an effective reply. There are pl...

Re: Low Pressure CPAP Machine?
Thanks for the replies, and apologies for derailing this thread - that wasn't my intention... it just struck a bit of a nerve for me. The post in question was about some wicked aerophagia I was fighting, and included quite a bit of detail about what I had tried and what was helping and what wasn't. ...

Two of the CRAPPIST web sights I ever clicked on!
