Re: HELP.chinstrap flow limit graph

it's true that the AHI is excellent, but i believe that a low number is only one component in good quality sleep.

HELP.chinstrap flow limit graph

Can anyone comment on the following from my CPAP therapy. I have been on CPAP for nearly 12 months with mostly positive results. AHI under one most nights and daytime sleepiness much improved. However, i have found that if I wear a chin strap with a FFM that I have even less apneas and the flow limi...

Frequency or duration of apnea.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what may be worse, the total number of apneas or the duration of each apnea. For example would it be worse to have 6 apneas at 10 seconds each or 2 apneas at 30 seconds each.

Re: Sleepyhead flow rate

Many thanks for that. Funnily enough I do have worse nasal congestion during the winter months and was considering using my neti pot again to try and clear it. Great to have some knowlegeable people on here to make things clearer

Sleepyhead flow rate

Can anyone offer any advice on the spikes that occur throughout the night on the flow rate chart. Are these just a change of position maybe? They seem to occur with an increase in flow limitation. My AHI is excellent, usually under 1.0 but still feeling fatigued during the day.

Re: Respiratory Rate Sleepyhead

Can anyone shed some light as to why these resp rate spikes are not evident when the machine runs at a lower pressure with EPR 3 as in the first sh attachment?

Respiratory Rate Sleepyhead

Hello Everyone. My first post and hoping for a little help if possible. I have been on apap since September and it is going ok. Have altered settings a few times in the quest for the best AHI and quality of sleep. Fatigue is improved (not eliminated) and AHI is about 0.7 overall. I have sleepyhead i...
