Re: Magic Sleep Number
Do you feel tired all day? If you are well - rested it doesn't seem you have a problem. What did your sleep study say about stage 4 and rem sleep? Before cpap I stayed in bed as long as I could and took naps all day. When I started cpap I slept about 12 hrs/night. After 4 cpap months it is down to 8...

Re: sleep data, sleep optimization
I had my drs appointment today. He didn't look at my sd card or comment on the pressure changes I made. He had a printout from the DME and commented on my noncompliance 15% of the time. He said my sleep problem is resolved. :) Last night my AHI was 0, no RERA and only 1 flow limitation. I can't beli...

Re: Absolutely cannot fall asleep with CPAP
Have you tried actual sleep aids or dr prescribed sleeping pills? Tried quitting all caffeine, no screens at night, no naps. I have insomnia at times. I force myself to stay up as late as I can past my bedtime, then sleep 5 hours it usually gets me tired enough to start sleeping the next night. One...

Re: Odd request... only reason I can think of for APNEA being a good thing.
Gryphon, so sorry what you are going through. My mom had a cerebral aneurysm and fell. She was alone at the time, by the time they found her she had brain swelling. The surgery relieved the swelling but the damage was severe. She was in a coma on a respirator for 2 weeks, after removed and lived abo...

Re: sleep data, sleep optimization
1. Did I give the data in the format you wanted?
2. I am trying to not be tired all the time, trying to optimize. APAP setting currently set 4-20. What would be a good 2nd step. I was considering adding a ramp from 4 to 8. Setting minimum pressure to 8.

Re: Trying to feel more rested - sleepy head data
I ran through every day of the last month before SleepyHead locked up and I made an executive decision to decrease my apap pressure range from 4-20 to 8-16 with a 30 min ramp 4-8. Most nights my 90% pressure is 7.5-9, I have rare events going to 15. I think the main problem is the pap isn't adjustin...

Re: Left Over Distilled Water
Yes, I was sitting in my college class crying. Lab partner knew of a place I could stay and moved that day into their little mother in law pad. It was at the point of being an emergency move.
