Re: Philips discontinues many products
My doc said my 5 year old Resmed couldn’t be replaced by my insurance company because with the Philips recall and now this, demand far outstrips supply. So there aren’t enough machines out there to give everyone a “free” new one every five years. She also said the technology hasn’t changed so unless...

Re: Does Anyone Hate their CPAP?
I need to Oscarize some data. The other day I woke up almost but not quite feeling rested (the third time since CPAP?) but last night was terrible sleep. The MyAir app said I slept well last night and the app for the Sleep Comfort bed said I slept well, but they are both full of crap and I might as ...

Re: Does Anyone Hate their CPAP?
I don’t hate the machine, but I don’t love it either. I may have had a “good” night’s sleep twice since starting CPAP. I fall asleep fast, Go for seven hours, and wake up before my alarm. I may get up to pee once in the night but go back to sleep fast. So I can’t complain. I hate having to rely on a...

Re: What do I expect with EPR "on"?
I've had extreme fatigue lately, and I think I narrowed it down to the losartan (blood pressure medication). One side effect can be extreme fatigue. My BP is not horrible, but needs to come down a few points. So I'm ditching the pharma poison and I'm going to try some of my favorites like beet juice...

Re: How much water in the humidifier tank?
If your local humidity level is high - and I imagine in Fla. it would be - I personally would not be using a humidifier as it would likely give me 'cold' symptoms, congestion, etc. and whatever you experience. Ambient outdoor humidity varies greatly. In winter, when it's sunny humidity is very low....

Re: How much water in the humidifier tank?
I've noticed that a low water level doesn't seem to get evaporated into the hose. There appears to be a "minimum" level, which I need to find. I fill it to about the second line, and dump the remaining amount because once or twice it looked nasty when I left it there day after day. However, I contin...

I hope I'm wrong.

Re: What do I expect with EPR "on"?
Lung Doc said it could be exercise, thyroid, or testosterone. And she suggested changing allergy meds. She looked at my data and seemed puzzled that my pressure limits were 7 and 15 (they were originally 5 & 15). I kept quiet, but she said she’d bump the high to 18. Bumping the high won't change a ...

Re: What do I expect with EPR "on"?
Valid question. I felt like my sleep was interrupted, slightly irritable, not rested.
The allergy medicine could certainly play a role, I’d love to purge myself of that for a while and see.
