Re: Airfit P10 Extremely Noisy
The one new mask I haven't had a chance to try is the ResMed N30 cradle cushion under the nose mask. It supposedly has the same diffused venting system as the P10 so should be silent. You might take a look at it if you haven't already. https://www.resmed.com/en-us/healthcare-professional/products-a...

Re: Airfit P10 Extremely Noisy
Lol yeah, I didn’t mean literally up my nose XD. Just having the two individual cushions go up to my nostrils, as opposed to just having a triangular mask over the nose or something like that :P. I do think the pillows sealing at my nostrils though may have been part of the whistling problem. I even...

Re: Airfit P10 Extremely Noisy
Hmmm....that's really odd, because if it was a problem with the hose or humidifier etc., wouldn't my full face mask be noisy too? I have an airfit F20 that isn't 100% silent, but it's extremely quiet and I have no trouble falling asleep with the barely audible whisper like sound I hear as I breathe ...

Airfit P10 Extremely Noisy
Hello, I am trying to switch to a nasal mask since the full face mask often bothers me. I purchased the airfit P10 for her nasal pillows, and attempted to use it. I found that it was extremely noisy, which surprised me, because many of the reviews for it said it was extremely quiet. I'm not sure if ...

Re: Difference between AirFit F20 and "For Her" version
The frame is the same size for both models. The headgear on the for her model is the same size and the small headgear for the regular F20 mask. My wife and I both use the F20. She has the for her frame and a regular headgear. I keep her in the for her frame so I can easily identify which mask frame...

Difference between AirFit F20 and "For Her" version
Hello, I was wondering if there is an actual difference between the AirFit F20 standard and for her versions. I know the for her version comes with purple headgear and is only available in small and medium, but is there an actual difference in shape/fit? I've been using the standard AirFit F20 for a...

Kenek Edge?
Hi, I finally found a full face mask that I like (thanks to Pugsy's recommendation), but I don't know if it's not working or something, but I've been waking up with my chest feeling tight and painful. I still feel like I'm getting a pretty good night's sleep, though, so I'm not sure what the issue i...

Re: Magic Sleep Number
After a month and a half of cpap, I am also sleeping a similar number of hours as I was before cpap. Usually less than 6, I’m tired. Between 6 and 7 is ideal. And more than about 7.5 hours is a little too much. But even on days where I’ve had to wake up early and only get 5 hours of sleep, my head s...

Re: Should mask leak cause increased pressure?
So maybe something is wrong with my machine...I just had another night with the heavy leaking and pressure increases when it leaked. You've got it *backwards*. Pressure *never*, *ever* increases in response to leaks. Leaks increase in response to pressure. Yeah it’s not supposed to but unless I was...

Re: Should mask leak cause increased pressure?
Can I see last night's report please? Awake breathing is very irregular when compared to asleep breathing....but unfortunately the machine can't tell if you are awake or not...it only measures air flow. Those awake breathing irregularities can and will cause the machine to be confused and do all so...

Re: Should mask leak cause increased pressure?
So maybe something is wrong with my machine...I just had another night with the heavy leaking and pressure increases when it leaked. I did not have any congestion tonight and it happened even while I was fully awake and watching it, so it was not responding to snoring or apneas...

Re: Need help with settings (as a solution to snoring)
As far as needing a diagnosis of OSA goes, my sleep doc and the related lab are basically a bunch of idiots and have not managed to communicate anything to me, including my diagnosis. I finally asked for a copy of my chart notes, and it turns out my diagnosis is sleep disordered breathing and not OS...

Re: No AHI but pressure increasing?
You know I thought I saw the fit pack with no headgear thing and then when I went back to try to add things up to get total on Amazon to compare to the EBay total I couldn't find it. Glad you found it. Saves a few bucks and you get the fit pack. If you hate the mask...you can sell it on the forum f...
