Re: Trekking with Z1 APAP at high altitude 7 nights on battery $875, 5.85 pounds
I'm wanting to build a trekking/travel kit like you did. I'm curious--how do you like the Z1 as an APAP machine? I also have the ResMed S10 Autoset, so that would be my frame of reference. At home, I use 5-10, EPR 2 on the ResMed. Specifically, how do you find the noise levels and the adaptive press...

Re: How long do P10 pillows lasts for you?
Thanks, folks! I have a fairly big head, and I haven't had much trouble with the head strap so far. When I've washed it I haven't noticed much difference. I try to set up the head gear such that I seal for leaks, but don't crush my nose and cheeks, so perhaps that compromise is contributing. I'm ama...

How long do P10 pillows lasts for you?
I'm curious. I'm a couple months into my usage of the ResMed P10 Nasal Pillow mask, and so far I've started suddenly getting massive leaks at one month usage on each set of pillows, apparently because the plastic softens up, and the pillows collapse down onto the dome part of the plastic, which has ...

Thanks, Pugsy and Palerider! Makes sense that EPR would encourage more tidal volume and hence wash out more CO2.

Re: CAs with P10 Pillows/Taping but not with Dreamweaver FF
Using EPR tends to "wash out" the carbon dioxide somewhat. That's why we sometimes suggest turning EPR off to see if it helps. Hi Pugsy, I'm new here, and have largely fixed my mild/moderate OSA with an S10 AutoSet. I'm using EPR of 3, and pressure from 5.4 - 10. I still have a few CAs (CAI of 0.7)...
