I don't really like having something going up my nose.

If I crammed those babies up my nostrils I would be more than whistling.
Don't do that. Let them rest gently, but firmly on the nares.

Re: ResMed CPAP machine tips easily

Anchor the hose to something solid between the mask and machine. Close to the machine, preferably.
You will then pull on the anchor point and not the machine.

Re: Do I have mouth leak? (w/ detailed treatment log)

CPAP is a PITA. You know what was a PITA for me? I'll tell you anyway. My life living with Apnea before therapy. Knowing something was wrong, but not knowing what. No doctor recognizing my symptoms and steering me toward therapy. Until my health took a dive and I ended up in the hospital. My cardio...

I end up totally drunk.
I felt great throughout the day. (Except for the hangover of course).

Re: Do I have mouth leak? (w/ detailed treatment log)

hank you Pugsy. I tried chin strap last night. It's a home-made one made from one of my ankle straps. I decided not to use tape this time. I do not recall having chipmunk cheek last night. But I do recall occasionally I was waked up and had to open my lips to let the air out. Not surprisingly the O...

Re: Brain Fog after naps

Anything changed in your life? Medications for instance? Personally I love a nap in the afternoon. I usually am sluggish when I first get up, then in within thirty minutes I am good to go for the rest of the day. Maybe some light exercise would help when you wake up? Napping with your machine should...

Re: Questions from a bearded newbie

I have a full beard. I have been able to wear any mask I have tried. Full Face will leak some through the beard, just keep the leaks under large leak territory. Leaks that wake you up must be controlled. A mask liner helped me somewhat. I currently use the P10 and the Bleep masks, with a gag-less co...

1. whether the machine detects events better with the mask, or does it miss events happening with the pillows? No. But some of us have noticed that it will take 1cm or 2cm more pressure with the full face masks vs the pillow masks to get the same AHI. Question 2: I am pretty sure the exhalation por...
