Re: soaked in sweat even with CPAP

There are a couple of conditions where you would sweat a lot that have nothing to do with apnea, but you should get a referral to a neurologist or endocrinologist to let them see what's going on. But don't assume that a Covid test 'last year' will have any meaningful insight now into things if you ...

Re: soaked in sweat even with CPAP

we keep the house pretty cool, 22 celcius, we watch tv with blankets or long sleeves. Maybe I should go lower but when I'm not pouring sweat it's just fine with a light weight blanket. In fact this morning it's hot and humid and the windows are all fogged up because it's so much cooler in here. What...

Re: soaked in sweat even with CPAP

Question though... Male or female? Age??? Wonder if it is hormonal changes??? I assume thyroid has been checked an all is normal??? Male almost 70, probably not hormones ;) Don't know about thyroid in particular, I guess abnormalities would show up on a blood test? I do have something with the aort...

Re: soaked in sweat even with CPAP

I was thinking about getting an O2 monitor that tracks the whole night instead of just 3 hours. Is a low of 81 serious enough to warrant exploring that?

Or trying supplemental O2 on my own.

soaked in sweat even with CPAP

I'm getting fed up with waking up wet in sweat most nights. Some are so wet I have to change the sheets. I've also been feeling really horrible for the past many months when I wake up. Except for 2 nights this week. I thought I was over whatever it was but it's back. I even went for covid tests last...

Re: For Sale Resmed Air Curve V10 Auto

well I'd say after all the negative comments about my price that no-one is going to buy it so thanks for the 'good luck' wishes

Other forums I belong to spurious comments in a for sale thread are not allowed and if continued would get poster banned

Re: For Sale Resmed Air Curve V10 Auto

I wanted to get the ad up but I will get pics, especially of the board on the machine showing hours used, good idea, thanks. I just went by my O2 monitoring .. and how I feel. I used to snore and don't any more and last night my O2 averaged 92 with a low of 87. All around it seems OK. IMHO of course...

For Sale Resmed Air Curve V10 Auto

I bought this a couple of years ago after being off CPAPs for a few years. I thought I should get back into it after going non compliant when my original mask finally broke and I just couldn't get one I could sleep with. So, I spent a ton of money with good intentions but in the meantime I had devel...

Re: Motorcycle Camping

something's wrong if a full day's riding won't fully charge the small Z1 battery.

On my old GS there was a space under the tank for the ABS module which mine didn't have so I put a second Odyssey PC680 and it fit just fine.

Re: Sleep Apnea Creates Gaps in Life Memories: Study

I'm amazed how little I remember of the past .. childhood, school teachers names etc, even memories of my mother are few and far between.

I blamed it on enjoying the 60's and 70's waaay too much

Maybe this is finally an explanation.
