Hi there, I have experienced the same problem you are having right now. My solution was a new mask. The Fisher and Paykel mask here goes under the chin and stopped these problems for me. I'll definitely be talkin to my dentist about it next time I'm there but no I haven't worn braces or a retainer for years now. Just dont want any more! Ha

The top part of the mask doesnt have an adjustable part unfortunately. I can put it on that crevess but when sleeping it rides up.
