Thanks for all the info... I did try holding the button and plugging in power as suggested, no luck. I did remove the SD card, but I think I put it back in before boot. I was diagnosed with central sleep apnea and prescribed a BiPAP machine. What are your recommendations on models? Of course, the doctor's office had an over-priced ResMed unit (about 40% higher than online). I'm wondering what your recommendations are from experience?

That article is what got me here. I got diagnosed with sleep apnea just a few days ago. Glad I saw this beforehand - I might just buy the equipment outright to avoid those shenanigans. What would the folks here recommend as one that doesn't phone home automatically?
