Re: My attempts to secure BleepSleep DreamPort covered by insurance

I just came home with the bleep dreamports And mask. My DME is having me be their first guinea pig with him. I am going to give it a free trial for the next five nights and then call in a report. I asked them repeatedly to give me an estimate for a year‘s usage. They kept saying they did not know bu...

Re: Somniflex Sleep Strips To Keep Mouth Closed

I have been wearing the somnifix strips for about a year with an oral appliance. And they have worked very well. I am now moving to an ASV Machine with a circadian nasal mask. I intend on using the mouth strips as long as they work as opposed to a full face mask. I agree with the tip to firmly press...

Re: CPAP is a patch, not a cure...

I was not suggesting that anybody quit using their CPAP in favor of vitamin supplements. obstructive apnea is a physiological problem And vitamins, unless they Somehow increase the bore of your throat don’t seem to have much promise. I also understand very well that centrals are neurological in stru...

Re: Oral Applaince

I used an OA for almost a year (DreamTAP) and loved it. it took about two days to completely forget I was wearing it at night. My blood pressure went down and was managed using only two meds instead of four and my subjective symptoms were greatly improved. My initial study had shown me as mild with ...

Re: what would be a good mask for facial neuropathy

Thank you Pugsy, The TAP- PAP makes sense. I am wearing a dream TAP now and should’ve thought of that. I have been looking at the circadiance cloth masks, But since they cannot be hospital sterilized The lab was reluctant to use them. I imagine that they will have the same issue with the TAP device....

what would be a good mask for facial neuropathy

While I am not newly diagnosed, I am awaiting my first titration study so I do not have any equipment list. I have a facial neuropathy which is an artifact of a sinus surgery. (mid-face deglovng with attendant orbital facial nerve damage). The surgery was in 1994 so I am convinced the neuropathy is ...
