Re: Why does ‘Run Mask Fit’ fix failure to start at 13 cm H₂O, my minimum pressure?
No, the video doesn't show that. AirSense wasN'T running Mask Fit, when I filmed the video and when it lied about 20 cm H₂O.

Why does ‘Run Mask Fit’ fix failure to start at 13 cm H₂O, my minimum pressure?
All settings remain the same. My Ramp Time is always ‘Off’. Please watch this video. At random times, my AirSense 10 AutoSet for her starts and stays at 5 cm H₂O, as measured by my pressure gauge. In the next minute, AutoSet lies that it’s ramping up to 20 cm H₂O. The whole time, I’m wearing my mas...

Why's AirSense 10 purporting to ramp up from 13 to 20, without pressurizing the air?
Please watch this video , taken while I wore my nasal pillows. As 13 cm H₂0 is my normal air pressure, why's AirSense 10 lying about automatically ramping up to 20 cmH₂0, without in fact pressuring the air? My sister, brother, husband replicated this glitch while wearing my nasal pillows. None of u...

Safe to soak AirSense 10's electric motor in isopropyl alcohol?
"Alcohol is not necessarily safe for any electric motor." Although he said "risky", Adventures with CPAP sopped an electric motor in propan-2-ol. Then he ran the motor for an hour successfully. But is this safe?

Re: How to clean out black grime, inside AirSense 10's unopenable motor chamber?
Never any wildfires, prevailing smoke, or smog in my area. I don't live in the city. Never SoClean or ozone. My foam is in mint condition. Amazon doesn't sell official replacement motors by ResMed. Thanks for your link, but it's unofficial and made in China. I am afraid of buying from Amazon's sket...

How to clean out black grime, inside AirSense 10's unopenable motor chamber?
Compressed air, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner couldn't remove this black grit off the side glass, or blades. Toothpicks, cotton swabs couldn't reach the sides. How else can I clear away, and wipe out, this black grime? As this motor works fine, I don't want to waste $200 USD on a new motor. I don't kn...

Re: Why’s AirSense 10 spewing white flakes, out of the blue left air exhaust?
No - no room humidifier. But even if I use a room humidifier that generates mineral from water, wouldn't AirSense's hypoallergenic filter block those minerals from invading AirSense?

Why’s AirSense 10 spewing white flakes, out of the blue left air exhaust?
1. What’s the official term for the blue Left Air Outlet (left photo below)? Monthly, I replace filter — it remains clean and white. Daily, I clean water chamber with vinegar, then refill with distilled water. When I woke up, I saw white flakes in the water chamber (right photo). I dumped the water...

How ought changing the AirFit P10's nostril size affect you?
2 days ago, I bought ResMed's AutoSet for Her. I was gifted an AirFit P10 starter pack, and the technician installed the Medium for me. My Dr. prescribed 4-8 cm H2O, and I felt asleep quickly. But I felt the Medium P10 was too big for my nostrils, and switched to the Small. Yesternight, even at 8 cm...

Ought air be exiting where the elastic headgear is attached to the nasal pillow?
Please see the picture below. I've indicated with green arrows air's exiting. 2 days ago, I bought ResMed's AutoSet for Her. It reported a leak of 14L/hr. I was gifted an AirFit P10 starter pack, and am using the Small. A teeny volume of air is streaming out of my nasal pillow, not around my nose, b...

Where to rent a PAP device and other DMEs in Markham, ON?
In Dec 2019 I did a PSG and the Sleep Medicine Dr's report diagnosed me with sleep apnea. On 1/13 I'm scheduled to consult the "Sleep Medicine Dr" to discuss the results, and on the same day I intend to obtain and rent a PAP device. I don't have the Rx yet, but I thought to ask this now to stay ahea...

After the PSG, how can the Sleep Study Dr write a prescription before you see a DME?
I quote from [this post](http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?p=1273718#p1273707). Yes, a prescription for a CPAP device is required in Ontario. It's also a requirement to be eligible for OHIP's 75% assisted devices coverage. I think it's very strange that her Dr. didn't give her a prescription and...

Re: Is a doctor's prescription needed for an APAP machine in Ontario?
you didn't say specifically if your mother had an overnight sleep study in a lab. If she did, you are entitled to a copy of the results. Drop into their office to pick up a copy. This will give you a better understanding of her condition. In Ontario, a GP cannot write a Rx for xPAP that is to be pa...
