Oh, that is interesting. Any idea is to why that happens? Just to help understand the situation bettwr

Re: Central Apneas?
Where did you get this diagnosis report? Are you using CPAP mask till now? Is there any improvement in your health (sleep apnea)? I am also a CPAP user in the beginning phase. I just wanted to know how people feel after using a CPAP mask for a long time. So I use a software called Sleepyhead, here ...

Central Apneas?
Here's my background: Symptoms of fatigue, tiredness, EDS, lack of focus and concentration, morning headaches since June 2017. Diagnosed with OSA in September 2018, study did without titration because I was claustrophobic with the FFM used. Using Cpap since 20th Sept '18, arbitrary pressure of 7cm/h...

Re: Spikes in pressure even without apneas
I do have ENT issues. Deviated septum, enlarged tonsils etc. My doctor said there is no way I'm breathing through my nose all the time because there really isn't any space. I could get surgery done but I'm just worried it might worsen things. For now I have changes to the dreamwear ffm and that has ...

Re: Spikes in pressure even without apneas
Nope, no medications at all. For at least the past 3 months. At that point I was misdiagnosed with narcolepsy and treated for that. But since then it's come back to normal. And my symptoms were as bad before that as they are now

Re: Spikes in pressure even without apneas
Alright, thank you. I've been getting really desperate though because my sleep just hasn't improved for a long time now. My eyes also burn very often and I'm not sure why that happens. Any changes you would recommend? People say that I need to get my AHI to under 1-2, is there anything I could do to...

Spikes in pressure even without apneas
I've been using my cpap for over 10 months. Recently had a leak problem, fixed it by adjusting the mask. Have worked towards ensuring sleep isn't fragmented, and I had a 7 hour 40 minutes session after a long long time. My symptoms haven't improved at all but have just been worsened - fatigue, sleep...

Re: About 10 months in, no improvements.
Hey guys, so one thing I've realised is one of the reasons I'm waking up multiple times is due to very vivid dreams that I've been having for a while now. I've never, ever had this before June of this year, vivid dreams throughout the night, but since the treatment for my misdiagnosed narcolepsy in ...

Re: About 10 months in, no improvements.
@Pugsy - no special reason for that many wake ups honestly. In fact, the first 6 months of Cpap usage - when my AHI was also down - I used to not get any wake ups. One thing I notice recently is a lot of dreams at times, which started happening to me since the medications I took and stopped then. I'...

About 10 months in, no improvements.
I have been using my cpap now since September last year. Over this time I have never felt like it has improved my symptoms of daytime sleepiness, morning headaches (which often continue through the day), bad fatigue etc. My AHI had been maintained at just under 5 for a while now, never at 1-2 but ne...

3 months in - Feeling worse than ever :(
I've been using Dreamstation Apap since September 20th, almost 100% compliance. The first sleep study I felt too claustrophobic so there wasn't titration done, but the second sleep study went very well and I was told I needed a pressure of 15. I've since been using my Apap set at 13.5 min and 15 max...

Re: Cpap leaks - Mouth leaks?
Hello, thank you so much for your help and all that you said there. I'm having longer sessions now, I've restricted water intake totally in the evening and that has worked for the most part, I have 7-8-9 hour Cpap sessions now. Haven't felt much better to be honest, but it's better than when I do wa...

Re: Cpap leaks - Mouth leaks?
Yeah, for sure it could be a factor. If you went through the same, what made you feel better? Just with time or you changed things?
Thank you so much btw in all of this

Re: Cpap leaks - Mouth leaks?
Do note that the sessions on certain days includes a one-two hour nap in the afternoons. I generally do sleep from 10 to say 4 or 5 and then I go back to sleep. So I do get about 5-6 hours of sleep before I wake up on most days
