Re: What setting to adjust breathing sensitivity?
I did some research and came up with some answers that have quickly made an impact concerning the comfort level of my breathing. Trigger: Changed it from Medium to High : The machine now adjusts more quickly to changes of direction in my breathing. Ti Max: Changed it from 2.0s to 3.0s : It now allow...

What setting to adjust breathing sensitivity?
It's been a while since I used my Aircurve, and I don't remember what setting I can use to adjust how it reacts to my breathing. It makes me feel like it's taking my breath away or forcing me to breath at an unnatural pace. If someone can toss me a reminder as to what setting(s) to look at and how t...

Re: Are oral appliances worth the thousands of dollars?
I spent $4k on the MAD device because I was hoping I could avoid the PAP machine. I didn't feel as though it was effective at all when I slept on my back. On the mornings after, I definitely felt it in my teeth. It does seem to work a little while on my side. I slightly felt like my teeth were still...

Re: Suggestion request for ResMed BiPAP, please.
Thank you both for clearing that up. I appreciate it. I'm really excited. I really believe as I have believed since the beginning of treatment that the Bi-PAP(Dreamstation) doesn't let me breathe properly. Originally I even told the doctor I thought the machine was defective. After 5 months of resea...

Suggestion request for ResMed BiPAP, please.
Can someone please tell me which ResMed Bi-PAP machine to ask my doctor to prescribe for me? I have been using a Dreamstation Bi-PAP and I just hate the way it handles my breathing. I gave it a good go for 5 months, I want to try something else.
Thanks so much in advance.

Re: cervical collar
I’ve been sleeping with the cervical collar now for over a week. In the beginning I saw my ahi go from about 5 to about 2.5. But now it basically stays at about 4 so there is no significant change. Also the collar pushes up my mask and has been causing a lot of leakage. You could use a different ne...

Another way to DL wifi data from this particular SD Card that worked for me when other methods would not. Yokin's flashair sync: . . yokin flashair sync.png . . yokin flashair sync_ choose folder.png . . yokin flashair sync_ update folder.png . . I had to use a spare sd card for the local directory ...

Re: Dreamstation "SmartRamp" Feature
Ok, cool. I will try it at a higher setting during the smartramp. I'll see what the data looks like after a couple of days. EDIT: Ok, I raised it by two each night. At 4 and 6, I was getting CA's during the ramp time. At 8, I no longer have the events. I also shortened the ramp time to 20 minutes fr...

Re: Dreamstation "SmartRamp" Feature
Ok, I can see why the auto ramp feature isn’t liked, or understood. If the pressure is at 4 until an event, that’s prolly the cause for frustration. A person may fall asleep early on in the ramp time while a pressure of 4 isn’t enough to provide any support. Sure it ends ramp and goes up after the e...
