Re: Dreamstation to Aircurve 10 VAUTO Settings - PS help needed
Well this is a first. I feel like I slept pretty dang good last night. I had been having crazy nose itching with the Dreamstation, I almost think that was the particles. I have not had any of that nose itching after switching to this machine same mask and everything. 2021-09-10 07_10_32-OSCAR 1.2.0 ...

Re: Dreamstation to Aircurve 10 VAUTO Settings - PS help needed
Any idea why the pressure went up so high at 3am? We don't know, you aren't showing us the charts we want. https://www.cpaptalk.com/wiki/index.php/Oscar:organize Do people ever put caps on the pressure? The smart ones don't, not unless there's a *very* good reason. Okay, this looks like the desired...

Re: Dreamstation to Aircurve 10 VAUTO Settings - PS help needed
Any idea why the pressure went up so high at 3am? Do people ever put caps on the pressure? Something changed in your airway that caused the machine to think that it needed to give you more pressure to prevent further collapse. Supine sleeping and REM stage sleep are both well known to worsen OSA an...

Re: Dreamstation to Aircurve 10 VAUTO Settings - PS help needed
The 95% numbers just mean you were at OR BELOW that number for 95% of the night. It does NOT mean that is where you were at for 95% of the night and it is NOT an overall average. Try PS of 2 and PS of 3 while awake and choose the one that is simply more comfortable to you. Given the looks of your d...

Re: Dreamstation to Aircurve 10 VAUTO Settings - PS help needed
I went with the PS of 2. Breathing does seem much smoother with the Aircurve as compared to the Dreamstation. Usually that pressure spike on the Dreamstation would wake me up.
Are there ever any concerns about too much pressure?

Dreamstation to Aircurve 10 VAUTO Settings - PS help needed
Hello, After some help from this wonderful forum the screenshot below is a bad day. As the title implies I have a Dreamstation but need to switch to the Aircurve 10 VAUTO because of the recall. My sleep doc is useless and wants another sleep study before writing for a new machine, even with it being...

Re: VS and VS2 Number spike the last two nights
This is more of a normal night. I have been feeling a bit wheezy the last couple days, not sure if those would register as snores and push up the pressure.

Re: VS and VS2 Number spike the last two nights
I did find this thread about false positive snore testing. I did just clean my CPAP stand so maybe it is the tube rubbing or some other noise causing it.

VS and VS2 Number spike the last two nights
So my BIPAP machine has been having increased air pressure the last two nights. I couldn't sleep last night because my machine kept waking me up. I decided to check my chart and this is what I found. VS out of control updated.png I have a spare machine I changed out everything except the water chamb...

Looking to adjust my settings
Hello Everyone. I am looking to adjust my settings a bit. I have been at this pressure for about two years. About 5 months ago I would average an AHI of 2. The main life changes are a much more stressful job and a weight gain of about 10 pounds. There are some things I can work on like my weight and...

Re: Rough night
The D/C wire kit for my machine was like 50 bucks. I paired this with a deep cell marine battery that I keep on a trickle charger. For good measure I paid for a backup machine, just in case.

Re: BIPAP Recent PS increase leading to higher AHI numbers
I will try setting my pressures back. I called the DME therapist yesterday and they said my report is fine. They must not even look at the real data because I have never had flow rate waves like this, and all these CAs. AHI was good this morning, "technically treated", but I felt worse. I am having ...

BIPAP Recent PS increase leading to higher AHI numbers
Hey All, I recently had a really bad night where I had way too many OAs. I had 50 in the period of 1.5 hours. I actually went to the ER as I had a really bad lump in the throat feeling, this is why I only had 1.5 hours of sleep that night. My numbers had been okay up until then, but now I want to lo...
