Re: Emergency- part needed

Looks like it is too late to get them from Amazon for tomorrow. At least here in NY. They all seem to say Sunday delivery with Prime.

Re: Deamstation or Airsense 10 auto

I do not know what pressure I need. One important thing to note is that I live out of the US and the Cellular in the Airsense is of no use to me, I don't know if this is a big deal or not. Thanks! The cellular is for compliance reporting. So your insurance company knows you are using it enough for ...

Re: Did I kill my machine?

Well its an antique mid century modern drexler nightstand. That has been handed down in my family..... Couldn't find large mouse pads but found the pet mat. Its a little big but grips well. Going to see if I can find a smaller one somewhere. Not sure on hose management yet. I understand they come 1...

Re: Heated tubing? Heated humidifier?

Last winter, when I started, I didn't have a heated hose. I keep my house cool at night. I woke up with water spraying out of the vent on my mask. It was spraying all over by bedding. I keep my humidity up pretty high. I ordered a heated hose and a cover for my heated hose. My brother got his first...

Re: Always headache when wake up with CPAP machine

I don't have as much experience as others on here, but for me, if my humidity isn't high enough, I wake up with a headache. Mine is a sinus headache in my forehead. I use to wake up really cranky before I started on CPAP. Maybe your settings need to be tweaked? I was thinking the same thing and may...

Re: Heated tubing? Heated humidifier?

Luckily in 5+ years with my old machine I never had rainout happen. Figured for $26 if nothing else I have an overpriced backup hose.

I will keep playing around with the settings and see if I find a combo I like better then just a regular hose. If not no big deal.

Re: Heated tubing? Heated humidifier?

I just picked up a heated hose for my Dream Station the other day. $26 on Amazon seems like the original OEM real deal. Anyway second night with the heated hose and it MIGHT be slightly more comfortable then just the humidifier alone. I think I have that set at 4 but would have to check. Seems I am ...

Re: Is my local DME crooked or is this normal?

What does the P10 cost you with insurance? I stopped dealing with my DME years ago and just buy my stuff from Amazon and cpap.com. I wasn't saving much if anything dealing with insurance and the DME. Both of which were a pain to deal with anyway. I know some people have really decent insurance and p...

Re: Daylight Savings Time Ends

This technology has been around for a while. Probably wouldn't work in this application though and not worth the added cost but does not require a cellular network. https://www.nist.gov/pml/time-and-frequency-division/radio-stations/wwvb/help-wwvb-radio-controlled-clocks Also not worth adding if it...

Works fine on my iPhone. If you have trouble, delete the bluetooth pairing from your phone and try again.
Worked again today. I will try deleting the paring if it messes up again. I have been deleting the app and reinstalling it. Gets old fast.

Re: Purchasing a cpap machine

I think cpap.com will actually set the pressure to whatever the prescription says. Mine was just 4-20 which is what the machine was set to. 4-20 is the factory default setting. It's not an optimal pressure for most people. You might want to get some help here checking it and tweaking if necessary. ...

Re: Purchasing a cpap machine

I was looking at the philips dreamstation auto. My prescription says to set the machine at 13. I will have to buy it myself. I had a cpap machine years ago when they were as big as tractors and just as loud. What amazes me is the price differential between local and online. Online is just about 1/3...

Re: DreamMapper. Is this worth the effort?

I have had my new machine for 2 weeks and this app is buggy as hell on my Pixel 2. Frequently times out on Bluetooth sync. Sometimes when it does sync 100% it then tells me no data found when I just got up. Deleting the app and reinstalling it seems to get it straightened out. Till the next day or t...
