I think this is a Resmed problem I had a Remstar Pro Auto CPAP before and there was no problem. This Resmed is a nightmare.
I'll try the Sleepyhead software and post it to see if someone can figure it out.

Re: Exhale blockage
Wow! I have EXACTLY the same problem. You describe it so well, thank you! I have a RESMED S9 iVAPS machine. I set it in learn mode and it 'learned' but the problem is still there. I have tried many different pressure levels and the problem is still there. I have monkeyed around with volumes too. Bef...

Lips forced open by pressure while lying on back
Hi, My lips are forced open by pressure only when I am lying on my back. This causes a 'popping' sound of air exiting my mouth which wakes everyone up, including myself. When I lie on my side, there is no problem. Any suggestions? I have a Resmed S9 that my brother gave me. I understand there is a c...

I assumed 'volume-assured pressure support' would act similar to C-Flex and the Autopap

Re: ResMed iVAPS - First Use for Baseline
Ahh, good to know! I had C-Flex in the past that ranged from 4 to 8 cm H2O. Now I know the general consensus is that I did not need C-Flex for such low pressures. So when my C-Flex machine failed I bought an ordinary CPAP and set it for 4 cm, after trying other pressures. 4cm works for most of the t...

ResMed iVAPS - First Use for Baseline
Hello, I just got the ResMed iVAPS S9. unused, from my uncle. I have an ordinary CPAP that I use for snoring, low pressure settings, and would like to use this one. I had an Auto CPAP years ago that worked much better and I would like to return to the automatic mode. This S9, however, is much more c...
