Re: New P10 Headgear
Just wanted to report back that this has worked for me, but I still feel like it doesn't fit quite as well as it used to.

Re: New P10 Headgear
I need to try this. I just got the new headgear and my mask is coming off at night multiple times. This never happened with the old headgear and it's super frustrating. Amy other tips?

Re: does surgery for deviated septum help?
I had packing the first three days and that was pretty horrible. It's hard to breathe (even with the straws) and I slept sitting up in a chair for those days. The first week after I was pretty lightheaded after they took the packing out because I was getting so much air. It was like a firehose of a...

Re: Mask indentations in my hair- any way to avoid?
I have long hair so I sleep with my hair in a topknot with a satin scrunchie. That seems to have taken care of it.

Re: does surgery for deviated septum help?
I had surgery 18 months ago for a severely deviated septum and bone spur further blocking my nasal passage on one side. I was having sinus infections 6-8 times a year and at first they thought that was the cause of my inability to sleep as well. As it turns out once I had surgery the sinus infection...

Re: New user experiencing claustrophobia and headaches
Wear your mask during the day to help get used to it. If possible, consider a nasal mask or nasal pillow system, many consider these systems less intrusive and less prone to feelings of claustrophobia Talk to your provider about increasing your ramp and minimum pressures, many feel oxygen starved w...

Re: AirFit P10 headgear question,......
When you first use the P10 you can feel like it hurts the nose night 3 was worst for me but then gets better I love the minimal size of it I had this same issue and found loosening the straps by adjusting them helped a lot. Ayr saline nasal gel helped a lot too. I had a hard time getting used to we...

Re: I want to throw in the towel!
I felt the same way you did five months ago and the wonderful people here helped me out. This forum is a godsend when trying to get used to it all. It took me about two months but now I sleep like a baby and I feel great. Don't give up! Turning off the ramp feature helped with the feeling that I cou...

Re: Newbie stuck between two headgear sizes
I tried the nasal pillows first and they ripped up my nose so they switched me to the N20. I think we finally have it figured out though. They switched me to the small cushion with the medium headgear and that seems to have worked. I have a really round, wide face, so I think I was just in between. ...

Re: Newbie stuck between two headgear sizes
Yeah I seem to be between the two sizes. I'm thinking about trying the Mirage FX to see if that might be better. The small really is too tight, and I tried the medium again and it's just too big.

Re: Newbie stuck between two headgear sizes
I slept a lot better than with the medium headgear. Didn't wake up at all and the mask felt secure. According to my app I had a good mask fit (no leaks). I'm going to stick with the small and see how it goes. The indentations went away by the time I went to work, so they lasted maybe a half hour?

Newbie stuck between two headgear sizes
I am a new user just diagnosed with sleep apnea, and I can't seem to get the right fit on my mask. I'm using the ResMed Airfit N20 and was originally fitted with a medium. The issue is that I had tightened up the medium headgear as much as I could, but the mask still slipped when I rolled over. The ...
