This looks really promising! Thanks for the reviews!
I have a nose ring and I wonder if the adhesive will seal well with it. What do you guys think?

Re: Designing a high quality chin strap
JayDee's lining idea is good. You can just start with linings for the more popular chin strap models. If silk fabric is too expensive around you, you might be able to find a long silk skirt or dress in a second hand shop that you can use for prototypes.
Good luck!
Good luck!

Re: Need help with pressure settings (newbie)
I might have jinxed myself by saying that my transition to a full face mask is going fantastic  I've been removing my mask ~1h after I fall asleep in the past week and not surprisingly I don't feel dreadful. I have not changed any of my settings and I remove the mask with or without a liner. I ...

Re: Need help with pressure settings (newbie)
Hey all! I've been using my CPAP for 5 months now and things are slowly getting better. I recently switched to Dreamwear full face mask and I feel fantastic when sleep the whole night with it. My problem is that I'm a side or a stomach sleeper and I end up with leaks. Here are two typical nights htt...

Re: Need help with pressure settings (newbie)
Who told you that? Let me guess...the DME or people who supplied the machine. That way they get to sell you a bunch of filters. ResMed actually says in their manual.....6 months or sooner if it gets dirty. Have you looked to see how the filter looks? How often depends on how quickly it gets dirty. ...

Re: Has anyones
I was diagnosed ADHD, ADD, yada yada yada... long list of stuff... as a kid also. They tossed every med they could at me and nothing really worked. As I got older the manic moments were worse but so were the depressive sides. They kept trying to treat depression but for the longest time no one ever...

Re: Need help with pressure settings (newbie)
How often do I actually need to change my filter? I was instructed to change it every 2 weeks which I forgot to do. I've used the same one for a month now. Is it time for a change?

Re: Book recommendation: Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams
Thank you to the OP, as books are often not returnable--even when they fall short of expectations. Some authors are just in it for a quick buck, and skip the research. We need to not encourage shoddy wordsmiths. The author is a neuroscience professor at Berkeley that has dedicated his career on stu...

Re: Need help with pressure settings (newbie)
i really don't think there is any reason to change anything. leave your numbers alone for a few days and see how it goes. most importantly is how is your sleep? are you sleeping well, with minimum wake ups? are you starting to feel better in the morning? some times it's better to leave things as th...

Re: Acne problems
The "addiction" part is self-deprecating humor; there is a good number of users spending stupid amounts of money on skincare. But other than that it is a legitimately helpful and well informed community.

Re: Need help with pressure settings (newbie)
Aerophagia can be quite terrible. I would suggest to set Pmin to 6 and Pmax to 11. Most important is how you feel after a night of sleep. Reduce Pmax if aerophagia is still a problem. AHI < 5 is considered as normal. No need to absolutely get under 1. I'll try increasing both min and max tonight an...
