resmed airfit f20...why so loud and so much exhaust?
I've only been 'pappin' for about 6 weeks. I've been trying some different masks. I have an airfit f20 and it's one of the more comfortable ones I use and probably would be my go to, but i just am really wondering why it exhausts so much. the noise is loud and it seems like compared to my other mask...

Re: New Mask from ResMed
Well I hope the cushions are sized different than the F20. I have a F20 with a Large(to big) and a Medium(to small), need one right in the middle for a perfect fit...  HAHA i'm in the same situation with my f20 . I went with the med, but frequently think about getting a large cushion jus...

Re: New Mask from ResMed
oh yeah, you can see the frame is different than the f20, so no snapping the new cushion in the f20 frame.

Re: New Mask from ResMed
Since I currently alternate nightly between the DW & AF F20 FFM its a safe bet I'll purchase one or two the instant our forum sponsor lists/advertises them. I alternate the same way, and I am also very interested in picking up one of these masks. This should be just a cushion needed if you already ...

mask setting on machine, what difference does it make?
what does a resmed machine do differently between full face vs nasal mask setting. I used my dreamwear nasal last night for the first time in a few days after using a ffm and I forgot to switch it to nasal mask. what difference does it make? I have kinda had a pressure feeling in my eyes all day, ki...

Re: possible reason for clogged nasal passages?
4. Tea tree oil—sprinkled on the CPAP filter, and, if you're daring, a few drops in the CPAP's humidifier. what's the skinny on doing this. I think somethign like this would help me, do you just get some essential oils and drop it on the filter? is there a brand or types of oil that people have bet...

Re: Move from FFM to Nasal Mask is working for me
I'm a newbie, but in my first week I have been experimenting with a dreamwear nasal cushion and I also have a airfit f20 that i've been switching between. I have noticed the lower pressure as well with teh nasal only. My assumption is that the exhaust holes on the FFM are much more so it seems to me...

Re: email form nationwide medical - PIA sleep center continues
so nowhere in any of this discussion was it like yeah let's go and do this. them calling me was trying to get me to come int and fit masks etc... That's good. They can't send you mask replacement supplies because you have never been fitted for a mask by them and they have no model of mask to provid...

Re: email form nationwide medical - PIA sleep center continues
well i'm worried about the sleep center placing an order on my behalf through my insurance for what they think i need from my prescription. if they did this i'll get a bill from carecentrix or whoever because i have a high deductible and insurance won't come into play at all except maybe a negotiate...

Re: Please review - first night with vauto
third night, airfit f20 again. woke up a couple of quick times and suspected my mask leaking a touch, but not sure. felt like I moved around more than other nights. posting overall then a couple of zooms on events to see if they're real or false flags. https://image.prntscr.com/image/ey3NDG3eRP2iGws...

Re: full face mask recommendation
I was going to say the airfit f20 also. I just got started on my therapy and had such a terrible congestion issue after the first day with a nasal cushion that I went to a local place looking to try a full face mask and came away with an airfit f20 and used it last night for the first time and it wa...

Re: Please review - first night with vauto
Thanks for that info. As long as I can remember I wake up in the middle of night pee and go right back to sleep. Never thought of it as an "issue." you always see this image played out in tv or moveis as common place and I never thought twice about it. The thing that made me ask dr about getting a s...
