Re: FlashAir Card Dropping Connection After a Few Seconds
I believe APPAUTOTIME=0 is the setting you may be missing in your config. Below is my post from this thread, http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t173681/WiFi-SD-card.html?start=15: I now love my flashair card! I too was struggling at first because I was trying to use my 5ghz WiFi network. As multicast...

Re: WiFi SD card?
I now love my flashair card! I too was struggling at first because I was trying to use my 5ghz WiFi network. As multicast mentioned, these cards only support 2.4 ghz networks @ 20 Mhz bandwidth. I found that assigning the flashair card a static ip and then adding these network settings to the config...

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
Wow, last night was really rough! I only upped the minimum pressure to 13 to see what would happen. Why then did the pressure spike all the way to to the top of the range (18) for so long? I'm pretty sure I wasn't asleep at 11 pm so this happened while I was still trying to fall asleep. It hasn't do...

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
Hmm.
Do you have suggestions to improve my 'better, but still not good at all' AHI?
Should I be concerned with my current amount of leakage?

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
My body just can not deal with 'FLEX' at all. I slept much much better last night with FLEX disabled. I know that a bit over 5 AHI is not great, but after having many AHI 9-13 nights previously AHI 5 is terrific IMHO. I notice on last night's chart that my central apneas were much lower than obstruc...

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
There shouldn't be any water in the humidifier bin where you put the water chamber. Hmmm. There pretty much has been a few drops in the bin like the above pic every night I've used the machine. I put water in the chamber and let it sit for an hour or so during the day to see if there was leak somew...

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
Gotcha. Appreciate the further details. Last night was OK i guess. One question I do have regarding the first part of the night. From 10:30 pm until about 10:55 pm, I was awake but in the dark and trying to sleep. I got up at 11 pm to go the restroom, laid right back down and did not get up for the ...

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
Thanks! I didn't understand what you were referring to at first but then found: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t114600/A-classic-example-of-SleepWakeJunk-breathing.html. Moving the timeline a little further to the left shows I actually awoke between 12:05 and 12:10. Correct? Not Cheyne–Stokes jus...

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
I figured out my leak problem. It was the mask. Wednesday I visited my DME once again to check for proper fitment of the Air Fit F10 I was using and the tech I worked with gave me the Air Touch F20 to try. WOW! I noticed a big difference immediately. With its memory foam cushion, I have a complete s...

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
The machine is unplugged everyday when I wake up in the morning because I don't want it powered on all day long. So I have an issue with the device?
Note that the session has no empty time when it breaks while I'm asleep. For instance, it broke at 1:14:09 and then came back at 1:14:10.

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
Last night I had a little better leak rate. I also notice there is a break in the sleep session again. I was definitely asleep at 1:14 am. Is there a setting in the software that splits the sessions at a certain time of night? There is bunch of stuff going on in all of these sessions. Am I doing som...

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
These up and down AHI readings are kind of frustrating. AHI 4.59 Friday night, 8.10 Saturday night, 2.49 Sunday night, and then back to 8.93 on Monday night. I notice that under the Session Information section there are multiple sessions listed for most nights. For instance, last night there are 4 s...

Re: Newbie to CPAP - Welcome advice and comments!
^^ LOL! Nice one! Well last night I got below AHI 5 @ 4.59 and I almost slept a full 9 hours without waking up! I haven't done that in a very long, long time! I know that many docs say anything below 5 is 'successfully treated.' I'm not sure that my doc is like that yet because I haven't even had my...
