Re: New CPAP User - Advice Sought (Sleephead Data)

jilyvn, if those were my charts... I would print them out and make a note that the maximum pressure doesn't seem to be enough. I would then adjust the maximum pressure up and try that for a few days. Once again printing out the charts and noting the increase in pressure. I would then drop off this ...

Re: New CPAP User - Advice Sought (Sleephead Data)

I'm excited to see that you found a mask that works better for you than the Dreamwear nasal one! I'm a new user too, have only had my machine for about a month and I am just not liking my Dreamwear nasal mask. Everywhere I go I see rave reviews about how this mask is SO MUCH BETTER than any other m...

I'm new as well, but in terms of the headache, consider increasing humidification and giving Sudafed a try. For me at least, it seems to be sinus related.
Interesting! I'll try that.

Re: New CPAP User - Advice Sought (Sleephead Data)

Absent pressure related problems, (like bloating) there's no legitimate reason to restrict the max pressure. The machine only raises pressure in response to breathing events, and once it gets to a point where you're breathing well, it stops increasing pressure... setting a lower limit just keeps it...

I think you picked the wrong mask in the profile equipment menu...you might want to go fix it.
You picked Bravo and you are using the Brevida.
Thank you for catching that! I have fixed it now.

New CPAP User - Advice Sought (Sleephead Data)

Hello All, I've been using my Philips Respironics DreamStation Auto CPAP since July 13 and it has been a struggle to get it working for me. I started with the Amara view mask which did not work for me, then switched to the Dreamwear Nasal for a week but I was having issues with leaking when I slept ...

Dreamwear Nasal CPAP - New to CPAP

Hi Everyone, I was recently diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. My AHI was 104.2 and 110.4 during REM. My lowest oxygen desaturation was 57% with 26.99% below 88%. Needless to say, I am anxious to get this under control. I was given a CPAP machine (Phillips Respironics Auto). The prescribed star...
