Clock on ResMed AirSense 10 not right
I sleep 7 hours and it says on LED I slept 3 hours. AHI is always 0.1. Maybe possible but I am skeptical. I haven't checked data stored on card yet but should match LED screen shouldn't it. Is my machine in need of repair?

Re: What is going on with all these centrals?
Thanks, got it. So 95% of the time I was from that number down to EPAP minimum. Maybe I need to drop EPAP min down more. The first report with all the centrals had median EPAP at 16.8. So I am bottoming out with EPAP min at 17. Probably should reduce EPAP min. With lots of weight loss, can your slee...

Re: What is going on with all these centrals?
New settings last night: 17.6/23 ps=4 AHI=0.6. A much better night. I selected 17.6 for EPAP because previous report showed 95% of time I was at 17.8. 2 central events, 1 unknown, 0 obstructive. Snoring back (I was up 2AM to 4AM so not snorefree zone. Oh, well. I've have always had snoring with CPAP...

Re: Resmed S9 Humidifier error
ResMed has specifically stated that they will not be responsible for repairing equipment under warranty if damaged by UV light or Ozone. The biggest same about all these "cleaners" is they don't removed any skin oils from the mask. So you are not helping yourself at all by "sanitizing" with UV or Oz...

What is going on with all these centrals?
I have lost 40 pounds and trying to get my BiPAP settings better. Was doing ok until last night. AHI=5.3 with all events CENTRAL. No obstructive events. I did reduce snoring significantly for the first time. My settings the previous night was 22/17 with pressure support of 4. I changed pressure supp...

Re: OT: SO CLEAN to sanitize N95 masks?
Am very surprised companies selling ozone and ultraviolet cleaners are allowed to advertise their effectiveness for cleaning CPAP equipment. They have never been approved by the FDA for this purpose nor have they ever submitted data to the FDA to support their claim. It is illegal to advertise this...

Re: AHI less than 1 but still moderate snoring
I doubt it given the graphs. My new puppy doesn't snore and sleeps in crate 15 feet away. The snoring increases with flow limitations.

AHI less than 1 but still moderate snoring
My settings on VAuto are 23/16. My average is 20.8/17.2. I have many perfect, no event nights but data demostrates moderate snoring still. Should I just not bother with the snoring (no bedmate to bother? Have experimented with increased pressure support but just doesn't stop snoring and increases AHI.

Re: COVID-19: Wearing a CPAP full face mask outside in the day?
CDC has "no sew" face masks on its website. I prefer the coffee filter one. The best cotton to use is high thread count cut from bed sheet or pillow case. Much tighter weave for filtering.

Re: Q: regarding snoring
Many state that snoring can be minimized or possibly eliminated by CPAP but nobody says it can be eliminated for ALL using CPAP. I am brachycephalic like some breeds of dogs who snore (Boston Terriers, English Bulldogs, Frenchies and Pugs). I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who snores when asle...

Re: Q: regarding snoring
No doctor would agree that all snoring is caused by SDB. My friend's daughter was teased for snoring at summer camp and has snored since a baby. She had huge tonsils and adenoids and after surgery, no more snoring. I could max out VAUTO at 25 and still have snoring. My sleep doc not concerned about ...

Re: Q: regarding snoring
Been on CPAP 20 years so I know a thing or two. My AHI less than 1 or 2 most nights. I have PERFECT nights without a single event and still have moderate snoring. Not all people who snore have OSA. So possible that CPAP doesn't totally prevent snoring. Increasing pressure won't stop it. (at 21/17 on...

Re: Medicare
DME will require copy of sleep study (and meet all Medicare documentation requirements to start CPAP). Some people who started CPAP before Medicare end up having new sleep study because missing some of the required documentation. Ridiculous but hard, unbending rules. Goggle "Medicare CPAP documentat...
